The only warlord in Somalia who gets significant support from his clan, the result of having no other leaders.

Though seeing the changes in Somalia, support for him is somewhere between 1% and 5% among his clan, unlike the 20% to 70% he might've had in the past few years.

As far as mooryaanimo, he's really not a blood-sucking type of guy like Caydiid or even to the extent of Cabdullahi Yusuf, he simply sees himself as a militia leader not a statesmen like A/Y - he protects his personal interests and not his clan's interest nor a wider goal; the only difference is that his clan views him as a statesmen even though he's never claimed himself as one, but that's the result of a clan without options.

We are talking about the Hiraale who is getting bullied by the Al Shabab teenagers, right? The one that comes on BBC and whines about how Al Shabab loots his mom's house?
