Move The Somali Capital ASAP....

I Give Mogadishu the rest of 2009 to get it's sh!t together. If the situation does not improved than we should seriously think about moving the Capital.

Mogadishu has the best and most significant history in Somalia whether good or bad, so it cannot be replaced by a desert dwelled area which look like caravan sites.

Voltage, stop trying to discredit Mogadishu infrastructure. The reality is, Mogadishu was the product of Italian architecture and Russian/Chinese products. Somalis are nomads and do not naturally have the skill to develop that kind of infrastructre.

as for the capital, it has to be mogadishu. It's part and parcel of somali lore. always was and always will be.

yeah it's frustrating. But the key to somalia rising up again lies in xamaar.
