Good luck to future Warlords

Postby paidmonk » Sun May 10, 2009 4:05 am

Old video, but watch it because it gives you a crystal clear view of current politics in Somalia and the future of the nation.

You have this current wave + new/next generation + overseas Somalis ... equals Al-Shabaab's backbone.

For a long time I thought it would take a simple clan militia or warlord alliance to beat Al-Shabaab, and in battle Al-Shabaab might lose like any other group but in the bigger war they will take all and honestly I have to say they have zero competition. These guys are the new heroes of the nation and as much as I or anyone else might oppose them for any reason, factually they are here to stay, period.

BTW, a lot of us have other agendas, but for some reason, the Muslim world views Somalia as a bastion of Islamic political resurgence :|

Yes. Simple answer.

But my opinion means little compared to the bigger picture and that includes members of my clan, who in [OUR] city have come out overwhelmingly in support of them. In the cases of the missing [Jihaadi] kids in our area, almost all of them were from my clan.

That should rest where I or my family stand on this issue.

My dad back in 2006 spoke on BBC in support of Hassan Aweys and the UIC, very rare and brave interview. He even wanted to join the ARS-Eritrea but my mom told him to cool off.

You have all your questions answered?

We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man... A man that made me remember the Fifth of November. A man that I will never forget.

They worship Allah, a God that many Somalis have forgotten until recently.

Thanks Al-Shabaab.

No worries my brother, I'll pray for u and ur lunatic role models. One question though, the enemy Al-Shabaab is fighting are they not their fellow Muslims? the answer to that question will reveal that Al-Shabaab is nothing but a bunch of murderers that are hellbound. Don't be brainwashed by them my brother.

The irony of appropriating the dictators song for the aggrandisement of their own man in Mogadishu.

It's funny how all dhabayacoos who was supporting and appluading afbiijo and his ethiopan masters are now applauding alshabaab.

it's simple and here is the reason. ethiopians at the time and alshabaab now were the source of the mugadisho problem. as long as the victims were hawiye, MJs indulge them self with the hawiye suffering.
