Dawwa what makes it sad is that emperior straight away jumped to puttin up the pic of berbera port which i intentionally left out for good reason...the airport, and the port was done by siyad...not snm or isaaq..and those cranes there are fakes, i been past berbera in 2000..there is large ships there but thats it..

While Qardho is merely a tribal enclave like that of Burco, or Burtinle, or Guriceel.

Please!! For the love of everthing with a sanity and intelligence, do not ever make the mistake of comparing FUTURE WORLD CLASSS METROPOLIS CITIES to a merely recent tribal settlement.

Buddy, first remove your tribal shades, then come address me, ok. The Correct Term is "Durriyada Beelaha Isxaaq"...ok! They are most welcoming people by the way. I was in Berbera last year, and i coud not believe the level of Kindness, hospitality and readiness to make me feel exteremely at ease and happy by the local people! WOOOW! God Bless you guys and the entire of Berber and waqooyi Galbeed. If it wasn't for the Tribal shades and hate among the somalis, we would all move to Hargeisa or Berbera to live among the most intelligent and entertainingly and HOSPITABLE People!! It's all about welcoming the GUEST!

That is the MAGIC! And that is why Prophet Abraham was blessed, because he welcomed all the travelers and guests so kindly

p.s. i actually Drove throw Qardho on my way to Somaliland, and it was despicable, not the people, but the town it was like the sun was frying eggs on my head, and every second there was a tornado of dust wrecking havoc on our sense of visibility. I was so over joyed when i finally reached Hargeisa, and the cool breezy fresh air and beautiful hotels, i just did not want to go away, lol, i ended up just chilling in one of the most expensive hotels in hargeisa, renting out an entire unit with a maid and having everything i wanted there.
it was just like being back in the west.
after a while i travelled to berbera, and stayed in a new hotel, and wow, i cannot express how blissfull it was to live in Hargeisa and Berbera, truely magnificent, the lobster i had in Berbera, i can still taste it, it was sooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooood..................WOW

if his intelligence is magnified by pointing out the city development simply because of its geographical location (i.e located on the red sea] and its future potential (i.e this metropolis he is dreaming of] then I would kindly ask camel_herder to stick to his camel herding business and leave the 'comparing cities' business to the professionals.

Since when has the kindness of the cities inhabitants been a data set for comparing the DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE of a city?

Cusmano simply took two cities and compared the current developments. Its clear from the evidence presented that the two cities differ little from each other in terms of their development. NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT the future potential of a city. if that was the case, I can simply say QARDHO is the future RIYADH or the FUTURE PARIS.

Cusmano made a great observation... at this time QARDHO is no different from BERBERA. its seems somalilanders cant stomach the idea. the evidence to support his claim is before you.

and oh by the way, having the best lobster is not a evidence to support you claim that Berbera is the next metropolis.
