Where was Ogaden then, when you had the 'Owned by Dhabayaco' Mark branded on your backside?

You didn't answer my question.

Let me answer it for you. The Ogaden Lord Sayidka was in a ceremony offering his most prized possession and favorite horse; Xiin Faniin .. to the Cumar Maxamuud, so he could marry an Cumar Maxamuud girl.

why is that majerteen use the title of boqor when somalis historical never used that tittle,
is it maybe because that title was a created tittle by the coloniser to help inpower their allies with with fake treaties that gave fake title to thenew subjects (boqor)

another Q for the Mjs

my uncle says that the hartis are in real life a sade kids than Kablalax (the story between sade and kablahax and dad daroods prediction of his death)
and he also says that majerteen is a federation of peoples who used to be amharas and oromos who converted to islam and became "bah majerteen" majerteen revering to their queen who also converted to islam.
majerteen was never a son of harti

go ask the warsangeli and dhulbanhante elders about their sade roots and how kablahax took sade`s sons after sade died.(kablahax married sade wife while she was pregnated)
no harti can ever say 100% that they are not a sade kids.

so to warsangelis and dhulbahantes from now on your abtirsi is
warsangeli harti sade darood
dhulbahante harti sade darood.

Why is that we always hear about harti but never about Kablalax?

Usman, this was the Buraan War when Sultan Mohamuud and King Osman resolved all their disputes and agreed to jointly defeat the Mad Mullah. It's a well-documented event and poems were made about it. Of course, Sayid would brag about its victory in the poem title, "Ma duqeyney reer Bari wuxuu doonayuu heley" . But he admits his casaulties, and the bulk of this long peom is dedicated to the Sultan Mohamoud who was the commander of that war. Unlike the King, the sultan would enter the battle and fiercely held his position. The Sayyid had this to say about the bravery of the Sultan, "wiil wiil u waayey oo sanwilwilo wiil u waayey". In the battle, he was like companion of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) Hamzah of the battle of Badr.

Here is a quote by Hess from his book, "Mad Mullah in Somaliland"

"The first success in this Anglo-Italian cooperation came in December 1910. In that month, the British Warsangali and the Italian Mijertain peacefully resolved all their outstanding disputes and, convening in Bander Kasim, agreed to act jointly in combating Muhammed Abdullah and his Dervishes....The Mijertain--Warsangali Accord led to a common offensive against the Mullah, whose forces were cut off from arms and munitions smuggled in from the coast. (Hess, 427)

Both Britain and Italy had inflicted incaculable damage on the Warsangeli. Long before Somalia became a colony of these two imperialist nations, there was a sea war between the Isaaq and Warsans and the colonials tipped the balance by depriving the Warsangeli of their commercial vessels. The Italians had bombarded the sultan's palace several times.

Even Sayyid lyrically touched on it, "Warsangeli doc uga bayr dacwad baan ka leeyahay. Mar haddey ku doortaan isku diirad ma nihine. War Daraawiish haduu yahey sidee doc uga leexdaa...Sow doonyahoodii duqaan naara kama shidin. Sow dooraweynoo ma deldelin ragoodii"

The legacy of Boqor Cusman is one of shame and embarrassment ..Boqor Cusman is a disgrace, his name is not worth mentioning.. not was he only a traitor and a sell out but he also pimped his own daughter and sold her to the colonial spy named Dougls Collins..dhaqan xumodas eega..he was heavily armed by the Italians..his kingdom benefited from British subsidies for protecting the British naval crews that were shipwrecked periodically on the Somali coast..

Boqor Cusman hoggaamniyihii beelaha Woqooyi-Bari si uu gumeysiga Ingiriiska uga helo derajo iyo deeq, 1950kii wuxuu gabadhiisa (Aamina Maxamed) u fataalay Mr Douglas Collins oo ahaa Guddomiyihii gumeystaha Ingiriiska u fadhiyey degmada Caluula.

During these ecstatic nights I would teach her English, giving her simple exercises to do whilst I worked in the office by day. From Amiina I learnt much of the folk-lore of the Somalis; that the legendary figures of the Somali race, Darod and Isshak, came from Arabia, and she herself claimed to be able to trace her ancestry to these Arabian aristocrats. Amiina possessed all the physical beauty rhapsodied by the younger set of advanced Somali poets in their short love-poems, the 'belwo'..During the long evenings I took delight in composing poems to her, as close to the Somali 'balwo' as I could get, and in one of them I described her charms..
