siyad barre

Postby Nomand » Mon Jul 27, 2009 10:06 am

the more i look at the current situation in somalia the more i admire the late president aun. when once asked by a journalist "when are you going to step down and let somalia become a democracy" his answer was " i am a zoo keeper i am keeping animals locked"

100% percent agree.

Istaghfurullaah! You make it like Siad Barre was a god-like being, making Somalia alive or dead.

fair enough but wasnt siyad the cause, people or certain people became displeased and the zoo keeper was not watching carefully, hence he should have taken steps to go or arrange somekind of power sharing deal.

Bombardments house on house killing torturing using the Somali air force on big grounded city’s
Jazeera massacre killing innocent civilians in their own capital clan politics.
Punishing the local inhabitants of mudug and torturing their elders.
Executing of Somali clerics

All of that is true
