Even if they are in talks with them, Xizbul Islaam is just a ragtag militia that gets bullied by Shabab from Mogadishu to Kismaayo. In Mogadishu after Xizbul Islaam captured the two Frenchmen, Shabab told them give them up by force, and ended up getting the ransom money for one and negotiating it for the other. In Kismaayo Shabab kicked these Guys out of the town, and humiliated them.
