For his own survival Sharif needs Puntland's support, and in exchange for that supports needs to give the state what it needs form him. It's really simple

The negotiating power of Puntland is very broad and is quit noticeable by the International Community, I am actually very glad this was held in Nairobi the offical captial of Somali offairs, our President made his point very clear today the noise was much needed. Faroole today wasn't really talking to Sharif but rather those that put him in power.

It's our way or the High way the Political might of Somalia.
