I agree that the PM should have been from the South. But Ina Abdirashid Sharmarke is not a bad Prime Minister considering his family history and the respect his family has throughout Somalia. I think he made a hasty decision without thinking about the long-term consequence of such a deal and the Sharif government did not respond swiftly. You can't just sign landmark treaties that will have consequence on the issue of the relationship between the state and the federal government without social consensus and parliamentary input and decision.

I agree with you bro. Corruption wasn't as big under Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke as it was under Abdrizaq Haji. But we shouldn't judge a son through the prism of the father. Ina Abdirashid Sharmarke should be judged by his accomplishments and so far he has been ok. The Puntland deal threw many people off, but I think it is a close case now. The deal is out of the window

Sheikh Sharif's priority should do everything in his power to keep Puntland on board. He should direct a portion of international aid to the development of Puntland and other regions of Somalia that are stable. That is for the greater good of Somalia. Why is Puntland trying to hijack the Sharif goverment for its own purpose's. Sharif is weak but Puntland is a state goverment and it has no right to choke the federal goverment and attempt to monopolize the very few resource's it receive's. In addition the federal goverment has authority over the resource's of the land(technically), Puntland cannot sighn deals with transnational companies without the consent of the Federals.It has to start acting like a state Goverment and follow the hierarchy.

wtf faroole wants a special seat reserved in addition to the seats the Puntland Clan's have according the 4.5 overlooking the activities of the TFG, looking out for a stake in everything the TFG does and recieve's. What makes it special.

I don't understand what is the discussion Puntland has been in peace more than 20 years while Mudisho has been on fire FRom the time MSB regime left so therefore there should not be negotitions Puntland should go a head and do it's own things of progressing it's people building and improving infrastructure working the welfare of it's people,illiminating curruption,assisting the poor and needy families because so far it failed to do any of those mentioned things because Pland is known now as a place where it is people and adminstration not working together and those in power are distant from the people and corruption is whitespread,as for Sharif speak with him when he is in control of Mogadishou.
