Doesn't he still have his leardership Maqaam? Still he is part of Shabaab, though he doesn't appear in Somali media as much as he used to when he was the spokesperson of AlSha.

Dabcan, beryahaan iyaga dhan ayaa waxay galleen SHIB iyo hadal la'aan. Wuxuu hadafkoodu aad u shidnaa xilliyadii Abu Masuur ahaa Af-Hayeenka Dhallinta xilligan. Bal qabso oo xilligaas waxaa waddanka joogay ciidamo loo tirinayey in ay ahaayeen dullaan iyo cadow so jireena, waa Itoobiya'e. Taasi waxay keentay in marar badan loo boggo Af-Hayeenkii Dhallinta Xilligan. Haatanse, maadaamo ay qolyahaasi bexeen. Waxaa iska yaraatay ahdaaftii dagaalka ee laga duulli jiray. Taasina waxay keentay in SHIB iyo Hadal Gaaban loo marti noqdo.
