Somali government signs deal with Sufi militia

By MOHAMED OLAD HASSAN
Monday, March 15, 2010

MOGADISHU, Somalia — Somalia's government has signed an agreement with a powerful militia that offers high-level militants senior government positions in return for their military support during a long-planned offensive against an Islamist insurgency.

The agreement gives the Ahlu-sunah Wal-jamea militia five ministry posts as well as diplomatic posts and senior positions in the police and intelligence services.

The militia holds several towns and districts in central Somalia.

Moalin Mohamud Sheik Hassan, the militia's head, signed the deal with Somali finance minister Sharif Hassan Sheik Aden at a ceremony held at the African Union's headquarters in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.

It would be better to act as religiouse wisemen, than to take part in this government. Maybe this might make them weak?
As imam Ali Murtaza radiyallah anhu said: Iam better for you as advisor(in religion and politics affairs),instead of being ruler''.

It can have lots of positivity’s you know why The ahlu suna waljamaca forces will do everything to take back Hiiraan under the name of the government TFG. While the world arms the TFG , the only forces that can use The wapeons in a proper way are the ahlu sunna wal jamaca forces so if the Tfg and the Ahlu sunna wal jamaca signed a deal in adis it can change allot on the ground, Remember ahlu suna wal jamaca did lost of damage to the khawaarjisit. Tfg fully backing the ahlu suna and visa versa can really change something

Well some of Ahlul Sunna are now saying they don't recongnize the treaty and they are their own group, so in esence Ahlul Sunna broke up like the ICU did with part joining the TFG and othe part becoming Xisbul Islam and Al Shabaab
