Because it insinuates that we are collaborating on the final solution of the Darod and others. It is a false allegation. It is like pointing out that someone is Hawiye in a room full of Darod. The insinuations aren't positive and so people feel uncomfortable. Try mentioning to the Jews that person X is a German and see their reaction. Same phenomena at play here.
