^ You need to calm down and think before you type man. All that 'just go to somaliland and say that, they will laugh at you' and 'tell that to a dir, they will laugh at you' isn't going to help you here.

Horta, what do you gain from us being Dir? and if we were then why would we be ashamed to admit we were Dir?
Anyway, besides those in the south there is no such thing as dir in waqooyi, gadabursi and ciise aren't even related.
Irir is also a fairytale

Isaaq is simply Isxaaq bin Axmed, not Dir or Irir all those fictional things.

Only a tiny percentage of Somalis are probably descendants of Middle Eastern immigrants. The rest are just ancient people, who are historically related to Oromo Borna, Rendille and Sambura, but branched off into their own offshoots due to religion, animal domestication and the creation of political coalitions. The vast majority of Isaaq and Darood are more likely descendants of "DIR" rather than any Middle Eastern immigrants. Of course, for alot of people, this is very hard to swallow.

I always wondered why other somali especially darood say us Isaaq are DIR.

First of all its unusual for a another clan to tell a clan who they are. In fact its extremely strange for another clan being so adamant and sure Issaq are DIR.

If anyone of you guys are truthful plz give me one GABAY from the past (pre 1960) proving your claim. A simple explanation for this unusual claim is jealousy. Jealousy that Isaaq are the only clan in Somalia that can prove that they are Bani Hasham and decended from a well known Shiekh (Isaaq). This man has historical books written about him in Yemen, a masjid named after him in Harar and have consensus in Arab countries confirming his lineage.

For further prof look at my abtirseen

(there are some more names that i on purposely left out to remain anonymous)

Idris, Ismael, Jibrel, Hussein, Abu bakr, Isaaq, Sacad, Musa, Zuber, Awal, Shiekh Issaq, BANI HASHAM.

If you ask any reer Ahmad (Nox Ismail), rer Gadid (Nox Ismail), Rer Shirdoon (Nox Ismail), Rer Samatar (Said Ismail) and Any Rer Mahamoud (Youns Ismail) person for there abtirseen they will give you exactly the same names as above and thats about 200,000 people. Now they cant all be disregarded as lairs

P.S i challenge any darood to give his abtirseen upto darood, u will seen some unislamic names such as kabalax, abudwaaq, Sade, Absame and abdi waaq and habashi names, exposing there origins.
Also these people are claiming all somalis are DIR and Darood and DIR is supposed to be Daroods brother and there father is Samaale. And Samaale is related to Sab. Samale are the Nomads and Sab are the farmers. Look at these fairy tales the Abo Said (Af Weyn) has been feeding these fools.

Gaabaneey

If u only understood why i wrote that in the first place, i wouldnt be here wasting my time responding to u. Now the reason why i wrote is that is bcuz they're this Jaberti is telling you that all somalis know isaaq as dir which is totally false. My point is to make them understand that nobody know more about isaaq abtiirsi than isaaq themselves or dir abtiirsi than dir themselves and both group acknowledge that isaaq are isaaq and dir are dir.... the reason why i said that isaaq or dir will laugh at him is nothing short than the truth bcuz thats what most people do when they hear hysterical claim which is nothing short of what this claim is all about... In other words not all somalis know isaaq as dir just a fraction of jabertis since 2004..
