Well nobody says Puntland has an honest government, and that government is part Dhulbahante. What I'm saying is that the advantage Puntland (and Somaliland too for that matter) has above 'SSC' in attracting Dhulbahante career politicians and soldiers will be too much to bear for 'SSC'. 'SSC's only advantage is providing Dhulbahantes a more independent alternative. But will it fly in the long run without adequate revenue resources, I don't think so.

The political reality, wether you like it or not, is that Dhulbahante as a clan is forced to choose between Puntland and Somaliland or stay behind. It has nothing to do with being politically outsmarted. Like the Gadabursi and Warsangeli, your geographic and infrastructural situation doesn't support an independent state.

They're too dumb to understand anything anyway. Mareexanow hiil , hoo iyo haa da ha inaga dhaafa oo , u dira lacag nimanka , ciyaalkooda baa tuulooyinkoda ka baxay oo gaajo dishay bay yidhahdeen e
It is the result of a movement driven by the vengeful grudges of a tiny number of qurjiles remnants of Siyad Barre's era .I wish and pray to God this time Somaliland doesn't hold anything back .

Sahan Galbeed,

Miskiin baad tahay. The whole event in Buhoodle is nothing but a diversion tactic by Riyaale to continue to hold on to power and delay these "elections"

^ These guys have no understanding of even the most simple mechanics of politics.

Its like this teacher of mine once said about the middle east; "I slept better when Saddam was in power, at least he kept the radicals in their cages." That's how I feel about Riyaale, he's no friend of mine, but no real enemy either, but I sleep well knowing he's got the hardcore iidoors in jails and small villages, far away from the seat of power.

Seriously though, it is beyond even a elementery concept, Riyaale does not give a shid about Buhoodle, Lascanood, etc. but somehow around the time there is supposed to be a election He takes up a interest, lol.

Relax no one is holding anyone back, it is a common undertanding.
Isaaq as a whole do not want to kick the dhulbahante while they are down..

If we didnt do it in 91 when they were even more vulnerable and completly under our power, why would we do anything now?
We only hope thier self destructive policies stop, and they listen to reason.
Their future is bright with somaliland.

Thier numbers alone will dilute gadabursi influence and they would have a voice as big as any of the 3 big isaaq clan groupings.
Already peace and order have returned to LAscanood, civil servants, police are getting their salaries for the first time..
soon there will be infrastructure development....

When the money and development starts flowing, this SSC nonesence will be forgotten by the majority..

Gurey, stop the bogus claim that you had Dhulbahante completely under your power. The fact was Dhulbahante were united in that time and it forced both HJ ansd HY to seek separate peace deals with Dhulbahante. If SNM could have overpower us, you certainly would not have wasted an opportunity. Remember we have many battles in the past and those are the proof of my claims. Remember, we were also committed to the civil war in the South when we had our battles with you. You can claim any thing you want and I can claim any thing I want but facts will always remain what they are.

Majority of Dhulbahante is opposed to the succession and break-up of Somalia which you Isaaqs were working on for the last 20 years. The reason we have this conflict is because SL officials and supporters want to create facts on the ground since every where you go for the ever elusive 'recognition', you are being questioned about the SL borders and whether you control it.

There is no development money that can come out of SL since there is no one single development project that the SL administration have conducted in Isaaq territories. Don't tell us the work of the NGOs that private citizens of those Somali regions have conducted. This claim that many of you throw around in the forum where you throw around these claims that you have made huge progress is bogus. As a matter fact, Nugal, Bari, Mudug, and Mogadishu before the Ethiopian invasion had more progress than the regions controlled by SL administration with the exception of Awdal region which its inhabitants have made huge progress in terms of development and education.

As a matter fact, Southern Somalia under HSHM in the last year and half have made more progress than the whole SL administration in the last 20 years.

It is easier to claim a progress than prove it.

For mutiny that is mentioned, I have relatives in Sarmaanyo dictrict in Sool region where these troops are stationed and the fact is these men were not part of the PL troops. They are men who were earning their living in Bosaso and decided to join the troop build up in Taleex and Hudun districts. The fact is they were NOT part of the PL troops.
