Shirib, nothing. Positions should be based on ability rather then qabil. But it would be funny that a Isaaq is prime minister when they dont want to be part of somalia.

Nobleman. I hope he doesnt get the position, as it would undermine our efforts for self-determination. :sland:

The president of Somailand is Isaaq, The president of Al-Shabab is Isaaq and soon the prime minister of the TFG will be Isaaq. Quite Ironic.

The First lady of Puntland is also Isaaq  This is the year of Isaaq
You forgot the first lady of djibouti :)

GSNM, they should be, but they're not, which is why it will fail. 4.5 is meant to fail

TNG
Then this was one of the worst policies ever introduced to somalia, this has been the downfall of the tng and the tfg and it's depressing that every new govt fails to realise that or are simply happy with it.

Cumar,

The system is meant to fail, it doesn't matter who's running it. I don't know why people don't understand this. Shariif had majority popular support when he came into power, but he squandered it all, and they have petite internal fighting. It happened with AbdiQasim, Abdullahi Yusuf, and not Shariif.

If Shariif was smart, what he'd do is destroy the whole parliament, kick out AMISOM, and get one of the Al Shabaab leaders to come to his side Abu Mansuur or Ali Dheere, or even Aweys and then it will be a fight with the more hardcore extremist group Godane and all, vs. Shariif and more maxaakiim crew.

But the International Community doesn't negotiate with "terrorists" and that's who runs the TFG
