This is the Fiqhi position. The stronger view is that the Amir can invite non muslims to help against fighting rebels. Even so, in a civil war like this one, normal regulations get lost in the mire. There is one party who are absolutists, who refuse to negotiate. I think given this fact, it should become clear which force is the biggest obstacle to peace. Al shabaab executed 2 teenage girls without trial because they said they were spies. They massacred their fellow brothers in a mosque, they force our Somali women to marry foreigners and if they refuse they get killed .Every person, regardless his/her status, age, gender or position, who raises any concerns or dares to ask questions, let alone criticize them, is either tortured, beheaded or killed. Is this Islam , is this what Prophet Muhammed ( Peace upon him) preached and is this what a Muslim should be doing. Al Shabab was killing before Ugandan soldiers arrived and they will continue killing women, children and the elderly long after they are gone.

i have a families all over somalia they say where alshabaab controls you can leave your door open at night they say that there is peace and order their and the plage of tuugo in somalia is cured in al shabaabs areas no they are the only ones out of all these groups including tfg so i am impressed with this mashallah but i am not impressed by the name and aim they fight not that i have any problems against it but it will bring people worse than the ethiopians and amisom i think everyone knows what i am insisting....
