Reports from Jalaksi district of Hiiraan region, central Somali say that 4 people died of hunger and thirst after the severe drought hit the region.

The dead people were reported to be 3 children and an old man and died of lack of water and food in a village close to Jalaksi district of Hiiraan region, residents say.



The region is one the worst areas where the severe drought hit and people in the rural have lost their livestock while some others’ lives are at risk to die because they are not able to reach other big cities in the country duty financial purpose, sources said.



Elders in the region call for welfare agencies to help people having the humanitarian crisis those areas.



Similarly most of south and central Somalia is in alarming stage while speaking the drought that people are suffering from it where ever they are.
