Farmajo on Faroole

Postby waryaa » Tue Jan 18, 2011 3:17 pm

Mr. Farmaajo is now on a local radio telling puntlanders they are the backbone of the nation. He is saying i am sure reer puntland are the beacon of our society in terms of security, stability and progress. He promised that the TFG will play a very active role in building much needed infrastructure in Puntland. He is also saying we promise to give pland their share of international donations - lol. No way can Puntland throw us under the bus in any circumstance! He presented his case in two folds, addressing reer Puntland directly before he talked to Mr. Faroole. He said, Mr. Faroole is my friend and we were on the same page when we met in Djibouti. He said he is going to call him when he comes back home. We won't let pland discredit us, Somalia is in shambles as it stands now and this move will further damage our credibility. TFG is in need of Pland! He said pland should know that if Mr. Godane runs us over, his next stop will be Bosaso. Reer pland must think hard.

Farmaajo is a brilliant guy. He spoke like a real smart ass politician. A lot of somali leaders would make things worse. If he stays the course and fulfills these promises, he will definitely win hearts and minds of many people around here. He promised to build dams too :)

Initially I didnt understand what made Puntland so upset but farmaajo is a good politician is he separates emotion from politics. I believe Somalida have temper problems and sharp tongues, but being politically correct can easy any tension.

Advo, the problem with Pland is that it has so many valleys that come from the mountains and go straight to the sea. With the right tools, that water can be harnessed in many different ways. Maybe he is aware of some needs or initiatives in the region. You can look at it with google earth.

oxidant, I won't be surprised if he becomes the next president. He spoke like a statesman.
