Why do we continue to shun 1/3 of Somalia's wishes?

Postby D-Runner » Fri Jan 21, 2011 10:56 am

Sh. Shariif has time and time again interfered with Puntland's interest: note Puntland interest is no different then what Sh. Shariif desires for his base... a lasting peace and having a voice. Sh. Shariif for some reason has manage to do the opposite, he has marginalized Puntland in term of security and development; Where are the funding intended for the reconstruction and development of Somalia as a whole? And why are the arm forces keeping the peace in Puntland not included in the ongoing training of Somali security forces in countries like Uganda, Kenya, and Djibouti?

In case some of you have forgotten Puntland is still 1/3 of Somalia, so yes just like Sh. Shariif, Faroole too wants to maintain the peace and also get some needed development such as roads, schools, hospitals, etc. done. I really fail to see how Faroole is acting like a spoiled kid when all he is trying to do is to get the TFG to come to its sense, Puntland’s wishes matter too.

Puntland is a 1/3 of Somalia if you add Sool and Sanaag to it.

Faroole and Puntlanders that support him, need to realize that you guys are a only a REGION and a TRIBE focus on your local issues. Remember that tomorrow the somali government may not be as weak as it today.

SSC and Maakhir are part of PL.

D-Runner, it is part of the power struggle in Somalia. Some see PL leadership as big contendors in the next Somalia's presidential election and the challenge he will bring to the table when the next president is elected in the TFG parliament.

Dadka waxaa ugu liita qofka hal dheg wax ka maqla.

Let me clear it for you. Puntland waxeey tiri, iyadoo far waaweyn ku qoran “WAXII SOOMAALIYA MACAGEEDA LAGU SOO QAADO, QEEYBTA AAN XAQA U LEENAHAY CIDNA UMA DABA FARIISANEEYNO, GACANTANA HA NALOO SOO GELIYO.”

Kuwa dhegta wax kuugu sheegay, xoolo ineey yihiin waxeey ku andacoodaan baa kuu sheegayaa:
“GOBOLADA KALE EE SOOMAALIYA WAXBA LAMA SIIYO, MANA SOO DOONTAAN EE IDINKANA MAAD ISKA DEEYSAAN INAAD WAX NOO SOO RAADSATAAN”!!!

lol, Jawaabteeyda kuwaas waxeey tahay, hadii goboladii kale umadoodii xoolo xero ku jira noqdeen, Puntland howl u taal maaha, waxaay xaqa u leedahay Puntland halkaas soo dhig wayee!!!

The enemy of my enemy is my friend!
We have to be out of our minds to allow Pland or Sland to hold a single influencial seat among the TFG, they are fortunate to even be allowed any seats and partially i am begining see the need to always retain them in a political stranglehold by offering them token seats so as to show the world their small parched desert fantacyLands are mere regions under the umbrella of the TFG.

Under 4.5

Currenlty Darood have Farmaarjo as their allocated representative and for the foreseeble future this will stay the same. TFg's term will be extended to Aug2014. This is the only way to keep the TFg alife otherwise there will be nothing to fight over as al-shabab will assume total control and authority of Koonfur.

Pland and Sland support Al-shabab because they have a common enemy the TFG and the people of Koonfur for whom they hold accountable for the failure of the state. Their only motivation is revenge and to keep Koonfur in a state of chaos so as to recieve a bigger donation from the international community for maintaining relative peace as compared to Koonfur.

If they are simply ignored there is nothing they can do about it.

Cirwaaq Somaliland does not Support Alshabaab where did you get that from , Cirwaaq why dont you tell your TFG not to give people from SL political position because we believe that they don't represent us ,as we are no longer part of Somalia. its just a waste of time for instance why give omaar the position of foreign minister and deputy prime minister while he can't visit the place he hails from Hargeysa. i can understand puntland as they support the TFG and Somalia but why us tell your koonfurian friends that they should exclude Somaliland members from the TFG.

I wouldn't but we both know why it is done.

1. It infuriates Hargeysa to know they have a seat in TFG
2. For 20 years The Aid allocation has been retained as Sland does not want it's share
3. For 20 years it has retarded you attempt to be recognised

Benefits of doing it :) Emotional charge, Financial gain and political sabotage... What more is required?

This is not my personal belief as i am weary of the consequence of :

- غيرة
-موضع حسد
- خبث

You have little enfluence of Sland achieving recognition that does not restrict you in expressing your views and your dreams... Why deny my equal right to express and feel the way i do for my region regardless of the inability to enfluence change?

The difference between us is i would not condone the destruction of your region to achieve the goals and aspirations of my region.

To me you are somali and i would not wish harm on you and i am aware of the political games being played against you and i truely sympathise with you and your region. It pains me to see you however show little consideration for the suffering in Koonfur specially considering you were born there and by birth are a Koonfurian.

Because Koonfuur people have finally stood up and demand their rights. They have temporarily have gotten rid of a vicious leech that sucked the life of Kooonfuur's well being.

Bye bye Puntland, we hope you are successful in your endeavors! Just give up and focus on your locals don't worry about anythying south of North Galkaio! We have moved on to dertermine our fate with God's will of course.
