So do I understand correctly that your pro-somaliweyn and pro Somaliland independence? Can you clarify what you position is on Somaliland independence; for or against

Coues shall we recognise them today? Or keep them for another 20 years. They have three chances or else we completely divorce them.
Saaxib there is no one divorcing anyone. lets sign the recognition with only half our names and the burn the papers infront of them

Pluralist Pro-somaliweyn the situation requires damage control.

:som: Represents Somalia, Somaliland, Djbouti, Ogadeen and NFD.

Besides Djbouti the rest of somaliweyn is in a state of disarray. The equation to create somaliweyn is complex and can only become solved when all concerned regions are able to independently come fort and agree to be part of a future union. Somaliland made an emotional knee jerk decision to surrender it's independence to Somalia in 1960. I don't believe they should today be punished for a emotional decision made as a result of the love they have for all somalis. The line between LOVE n HATE is very thin. The last 50 years have turned somaliland's love of unity into a pet hate.

I believe for the greater good of all somalis of the horn of africa if we are to have a chance at seeing unity in our life time we must stop punishing somaliland for their 1960 decision. In the hope that such a day will come when this :som: is realised out of mutual respect, self interest, peace, somalinimo and self preservation.

Somaliweyn is best served with an independent somaliland with the ability to grow it's economy, security, education and to become a safe heaven for somalis of other regions where there is instability in similar capacity as Djbouti has served the people of all 4 other regions in the last 50years.

Its actually beneficial for Somaliland to secede, they have no readily available resources unlike Somalila, we have vast resources and readily available agricultural land compared to the desert north, it should be them begging us. Instead they'll beg the UN for food supplies and will be dependent on foreign aid. Its a win win situation for the people of Somalia because they are self sufficient and won't have to feed the two states puntland and somaliland.

Somaliland= a glorified Djibouti in the future

Shutup flip flopper, your lack of knowledge concerning natural resources in Somalia is not only next to nothing. It is also very exxagerated and unrealistic.

Nobody is seceding from Somalia. Not Somaliland, Puntland, that little street called makhiir. No one.

Look at this dumb seccecionist, do i have to explain everything for you?

Djibouti denied being part of greater Somalia in 1977 and choose to be an ally and an independent nation.

Ogaden voted overwhelmingly for Greater Somalia, but the british denied them that right.

NFD Somalis also atttempted to secede but they got tortured and harassed by the Kenyan goverment in over a decade

British Somaliland ACCEPTED union with Italian Somaliland. Therefore your pathetic excuse is not worthy of repeating. Next time learn about Somali history and politics, and it might do you good you idiot.
