Since when did Puntland get involved in the fighting??

according to the only existing internation borders there are only 2 states British somaliland and Italian somaliland who joined in 1960. Now if the international community can ignore this incident when Puntland decideds to invade Ethiopian-Somaliland (Ogadeenia) the international community will also ahve to turn a blind eye. When Kenyan-Somaliland(NFD) is invaded the AU UN and EU will have to turn a blind eye like wise.

This incident will set presedence for the invasion of both Ethiopia and Kenya in time to come and one day French-Somaliland will also be subjected to this type of invasion once presendence is set.

Funny enough my perspective is that Puntland(a region in Somalia) has invaded Sool(a region in somaliland) This invasion is part of an ongoing abuse experienced since 1960 that has cost the somaliland people since their blind act of entering into a union with Somalia. This incident to me is a precursor that will force the UN, EU and UN into a decision to return the borders to their 1960 status... However Somaliland people must accept a huge lost of life for that to happen. I have a feeling Somaliland will back down even though escalation of this conflict is there only escape from the union.

In the 1980 somaliland experienced atrocities commited against it's population by the forces of Somalia where it is estimated they lost excess of 250,000 civilians. Will this be repeated once again? Or will they fight for their freedom even if they loose 100s of thousands.

Is this the opportunity they have needed and are they willing to sacrifice thousands to gain their independence

I will hold Puntland responsible for all loss of life as they have been behind this covert war since 2007.
