Abdalla11,

You are a very creative guy. Abdullahi Yusuf sneaked through in 2004 because the Hawiye were arrogant with power and underestimated the other groups. This is not the case today and Faroole will have to climb a very steep mountain in order to become a president and many things will have to change in the ground in Mogadishu. I fail to see what world you live in, but the Somali people are overwhelmingly supporting the decision of the Government and even IGAD is entirely behind the government's decision. The UN/US will initially make some objections but will ultimately have to accept facts. What leverage do they have? Pull the plug on the TFG? Al Shabab is a danger facing not just Somalia but the region and undermining the TFG will directly harm the interest of the International Community. Even Mahiga understands this as he has categorically stated the idea of undermining the TFG was out of question as a result of the government's decision. Mahiga took in more than he could chew and he regrets his shenanigans now. While the TFG's position had been very firm from the very beginning, Mahiga has been all over the ball-park from initially stating " the future of the TFG will be determined in the Nairobi Conference," to now stating " No decisions will be made."

I don't know if you are old enough to realize this, but the TFG is speaking from a position of strength and the only ones rallying behind Mahiga are Puntland. We will sed how meaningful a conference regarding Somalia ends up without the participation of the Somali government.

With regards to Puntland having troops in Mogadishu

The biggest contribution made by Col Nuur Cade was not evicting Abdullahi Yusuf. It was denying Puntland the ability of asking back the militias that came with AY. Overwhelming majority of those militias have sold their arms and crossed the Kenyan borders and some have even joined Al Shabab. Why do you think there is an obvious security vacuum in Puntland today and why do you think Somaliland was able to dismember Puntland and cut it half in a broad daylight while Puntland hasn't been able to lift a fingers for almost 4 years now; even though we incessantly hear threats of " We coming."

You guys lost the plot and your future depends on Mahiga

About the TFG-Puntland rift, lol I think even you know that Faroole emphatically stated during the recent "Galmudug" Puntland talks that He wanted to reverse his earlier decision and work with the TFG. The Somali government called his bluff and when he presented himself like a toothless rat, he was and still is being ignored and treated like an insignificant factor. Why do you think we no longer have to hear, "Puntland will take this action and that action." It was an act all along

WTF are you talking about? The reason why PL soldiers are in Xamar has nothing to do with Nuur Cadde lol, for crying out loud that guy was tamed by Ina Sharmaake and even Shariif outsmarted him. First of all it was their own choice not leave, even AY wanted them to leave Xamar but they refused, secondly they are stuck because of Alshabaab occupy the surrounding areas. How the hell can they relocate with their military devices from Xamar to Puntland, it's logistically impossible. BTW i think you forgot that PL has the authority to purchase military hardware and they did purchase them the past months

As for your ludicrous claims that AY sneaked through lol who were the 'favorite candidates', i dare you to name it? The guy received 200 of the 275 votes, that's not sneaking through, that's a landslide victory

We all know the next President will be someone who hates Shariif and he has the support of another guy who hates him too. Pictures say more than 1000 words. Besides Muhammed Dheere, the powerful Mogadishu warlord has unfinished business with Shariif and co.
Image

Faroole stood his ground since he broke with the TFG, it's Jalaato and Co who can't realize their claims. It was Jalaato who was kissing PL ass by saying 'you're the backbone of Somali society blablabla' on national radio, it's his ministers of attend meetings where PL ministers are present too. It was Jalaato who 'ordered' the donors in Djibouty not to invite Faroole but they send him an invitation. The examples are endless. As i said nobody likes small doggs who bark too loud

Patriot your mind is clouded by the 90's with little logical bases. If thats your attitude I doubt anybody but the natives will ever see Xamar Cadde. :D

Btw, dont think that PL only deports those from the south but your arse will not be save from the witch hunt and will find yourself in a cell in Ethiopia all thanks to PL.
But its politics and the only thing consist are interests, and policies will be changed in pursuit of this interest.

nigga the times have changed but the people have not changed, how many times did you see the tribe card being used in Xamar cadde blaming all their woes on non Xamar cade. I mean even odeyasha and most of the influential politicians were all saying it loud i.e Xamar unkuah leh while not understanding that TFG represented the entire Somalia. I mean if you are still naive then keep on with your adventurism.

As for PL deporting did I say I need preferential treatment?

Politics is politics and nothing changes in the South ( even interests )the route to achieve it changes but the goal is the same.
So waki laga caqli badhiya

Abdalla11,

You are smoking some really good stuff out there

Everyone knows Abdullahi Yusuf was denied to allow his militias back to Puntland by Ms Frazer, the US under-secretary for Africa and AY himself was exiled from Somalia. This happened in the fall of 2008 at the Nairobi Wilson Airport when Abdullahi Yusuf was returning to Baidoba from my late Abti's funeral. Who are you kidding?

All of Abdullahi Yusuf's main commanders are in Kenya or back to Pubtland from Darwiish to the other unknown guys. I dare you to name one place in Mogadishu where these invisible-cloak wearing Puntland militias are stationed in Mogadishu

About Col Nuur Cade supporting Faroole  is the only response you deserve. Bro, Claim whatever you want, but everybody knows what kind of man Col Nuur Cade is and where he stands on your people. Expecting him to lend a helping to Faroole against Sharif is just a wet-dream of yours and will never see the light, it just shows desperation on your part.

As far as Col Nuur Cade and Sharif's relationship are concerned, they have difference of opinion and no personal dislike for each other. You have to remember Col Nuur Cade was named the Somali ambassador to Italy and Envoy-at-Large by none other than Sh Sharif. Lol@ Fat guy having beef with Nuur Cafe. You do realize it was Col Nuur Cade that advised Sh Sharif to select Omar AbdiRashid Sharmarke from a list of four other candidates, right?

In that picture of yours, Col Nuur Cade was welcoming Faroole to Italy purely under his capacity as the Somali Envoy to that nation. You are reading too much into that image. I was with Col Nuur Cade and his son in Germany last summer and I know better not to buy your fantasies. Take it from me, Faroole has as much chance as an Ogadern becoming a president of Somalia. ZERO

Good on you farmajo...

Somaliland does not respect the UN, they hate us and we hate them..
But they have increased the aid given to us, and they were or are still considering locating their offices to hargiesa..

Basically i am saying farmajo should hold his ground,

they will in the end bend to his will..

if somaliland can get away with disrespecting the UN, so can the TFG

Thepatriot,

What was up with Nimco Dareen singing for the Zone 5 President in Minneapolis? And do you think Meles Zenawi will retire and hand the reigns to another one of his people?

Tiiho, Farmaajo is an asset to Somalia and his stand against the Mahiga and the UN is a symbol of hope for Somalia that is welcomed by all Somalis, lets not reduce this to a tribal topic by responding to every hater.
