Puntland is not a nation but a regional state within somalia!!The international community won't recognize Somaliland until Somalia does. Somaliland should really be trying to get Puntland or TFG to recognize them, not the UK.
exactly , the decades of resentment and recognition seeking of outside government body's was and is a waste of time. if they played it smart and played a part in the reconciliatory attempts in xamar they would certainly of been a power to be reckoned with and could of laid out the foundations of policy change and influence the top officials within the tfg to concede to their secession demands .The international community won't recognize Somaliland until Somalia does.
