The UN has spoken, both Sheikh Sharif and Sharif Hassan lost

Just couple days ago I said to Shirib that both of them are losers because the UN/Donors already planned the post-transition. I told him no matter how much Sheikh Sharif fought, he was leaving and Shariif Hassan was the domestic pawn being used to prevent a domestic "legimitization". The UN saw a united president and prime minister (in all other cases one was used against the other) so if the Speaker became united with them their external interference would not work.
Basically the international community and donor countries do not even want to hear of an extension for TFG past this summer. They crossed the line at the transition has to end and Farmaajo going to UN last week was the UN and donor countries saying, it is game over and even Sheikh Sharif has realized the extension is not happening. But while the ruckus was going on, both Faroole and Shariif Xassan who want to be president started resisting the extension and including prominent parliamentarians like Juriile, Jangeli, Buubaa, etc...but the more this group moved towards the international community's position the more it seemed like they were gaining power. It was a case of domestic pawns for the IC and donor countries but the post-transition has long been planned by the powers that be and that group will feel disappointment.

The UN/AU/Donor countries meeting yesterday said that an extension is not going through but but get this, they gave Farmaajo/Sheikh Shariif/Cabinet to go ahead with their June plan on being the counter-meeting to the last meeting in Nairobi they did not go to. They also said parliament will change hands before change of president. Basically they used Shariif Hassan against Sheikh Shariif and now they are using the present executives against Shariif Hassan.

Check and balance if I ever saw one; cancel each other out.

Sheikh Sharif didn't even wait. He immediately came back to Mogadishu and spinned the it as the UN "capitulating" to the meeting his government announced will be held by them in Mogadishu

Also, his mouthpiece left off the part about presidential/parliament elections happening before August

Iam Really Confused, so the most likely shit to happen will be all three President, PM and Speaker will be replaced by some other fresh guys? The UN must really dont want a stable Somalia with all this change every 2 years.

I haven't heard about the PM and Cabinet. I heard there might be a year extension for them similar to the extension allowed to the regular parliament but don't hold me to this until I confirm.

If they are going to have an Election for the Presidency, most likely they are going to have him elect a PM and dissolve the cabinet and restart all over again. I still don't get how they are going to let the Parliament stay and have elections for other post. This shit is too confusing

:| They now have a strong Amisom presence and can afford flibbing tokens in suits at their discretion.

I blame Faroole's types for what will follow, these snakes will never change anything for the average civilian.

Let us wait and see how it plays out.

The TFG ceded their sovereignty the minute they invited AMISOM to Mogadishu, what was left of it anyways after the Ethiopian invasion.

People saying the TFG was winning, winning for whom? Certainly not Somalia.
