there were some issues, but the film is his and he told me that those issues will be resolved soon.

I was actually aware of the legal problems couple months ago and if it hasn't been resolved couple weeks before it airs on HBO, yeah I guess it is going to be resolved.

Also, property belongs to those who have legal ownership of it. If the film was his, he wouldn't have been snipped out from the credits. Poor kid should have read the contract better.

Gemini, you don't get it. He basically did all the hard work, financed his own work, then came back to Canada and got some third rate production company that cheated him out of ownership of his own documentary. He is not in the credits, had nothing to do with the final edit, doesn't have legal claim to his own work, and will not be getting a dime out of the proceeds. It has nothing to do with personal opinion, dude got shafted from his own work. I feel bad for him wallahi
