Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed made the comments while addressing at a ceremony marking the 51st anniversary of the northern Somalia independence from the British colony which was dated 26 June 1960.
The ceremony, which very highly and beautifully organized, was held at the presidential palace, the Villa Somalia.
He accused Al shabaab of dividing the regions and districts of Somalia, adding that they want to colonize Somali people, some which is unacceptable.
The president also noted the infighting and political bickering had ended, and spelled out the leaders of the nation are ready to reconstruct and develop their country after twenty years of civil war.
He called for the Somali people and the international community to act quickly to held the needy Somalis who living a very desperate living condition and humanitarian crisis.
