The likes of Paidmonk are mostly exclusive to one clan. I hate to be a tribalist. But this ongoing trend of Majerteens being anti Somalis and anti unity must be told. If we look at history, it was these kind of people that took the office in the early 60s, they brought clan politics, widespread drug abuse, assasinations and corruption to Somalis who wanted to be a shining example of a country in Africa. Thus people became sick of what has manifested itself in Somalia in many years of "majerteen" rule of the nation.

From the Isaaq from all the way north, to Hawiye all the way South saw the uselessness of that goverment. And it finally happened 1969, people took matters into their own hands. the country flourished and made a name for itself on the worldmap. Siad barre might have been a lunatic, but wallahi he had atleat the nations interest at his heart and transformed the country.

The Isaaq in turn took back their bombed cities witch was mentioned to be the worst case of bombings of civilians in Africa at that time. They transformed their cities, restored peace among clans and had one vision (even if we dont agree). They shined some light on the torn Somali name, and gave back som honour to it, by being a shiny example of Somalis that can do anything if they have the will. They became a stark contrast in a region where development was low and state controll was everywhere.

The majerteen founded their mamool and until today, it is associated with tribalism, drug abuse, piracy and organized crime. They got their chance by having fat boy sharmarke in the office of Somalia, he proved to be a corrupt and useless, but loyal to puntland by stealing the aid fund of the Nation and diverting it to Puntland.

These are the same people that looked with envy and tried to associate farmaajo with corruption. They are the same people wich are still until today very involved with Ethiopia and anti Somali activities.

I would be careful of taking their advice on anything that matters to national security.
The only President to have ever been assassinated in the history of Modern Day Somalia was an MJ.
and he was killed by a MJ man that had SUURO

coeus, debate your points like a man and stop the useless whinning  instead of telling us your opinions regarding the subject you pull such nonsense. we know you are a damn tribalist so be open about it
it pains him to know exactly how powerless he is. he can troll, change history and facts as he wishes, and cheerlead for puntlands destruction, but the fact remains that an mj is the prime minister of somalia and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it.

This is my dream government that i designed myself

somalia has 18 regions

18 governors
18 ministers
180 mp's , 10 of them from one region so 10x18=180mps
18 vice ministers

individual regions choose their own governor and pick their own 10 mps from their own region

my dreaaaaaaaaam i will make this happen inshallah
At first I agreed with this, but now I'm questioning if we have the population requirements, as its now the average of people in each region is about half of million, thats AVERAGE. Some place are severely under populated.
all regions will have their freedom to choose who they want. i don't understand what u mean by population but my system the population has nothing to do with it.
Its not going to work without considering the populations sxb, why should Bari have equals numbers of MPs with Awdal when I'm pretty sure it have twice the population? That over-representing the Awdal region which a lot of people will see as unfair.

Halkan in Canada, Ontario and Quebec has the most seats in the capital, and rightfully so, they have more than half of the population in the country.

Prime minsiter Abdiweli is a man of principles. I very much doubt he is a tribalist, like many others of his kin. :som:

if being a "tribalist" means supporting puntland, then you can add abdiweli to your list because he is one of the founders of the puntland diaspora forum and he was one of the pl diaspora leaders who welcomed faroole when he went to the united states.

Words and "lol" smileys won't change the reality. Every clan at home and in the diaspora [among the most educated Somalis] are presenting their own states every other week. Its very clear the direction Somalis want to put their country.

The truth may be inconvenient to some, but you can't deny it.

Saaxib clean up your kin. With their very anti Somali opinions, any Somali nationalist will tell the truth to them. Monk here is basicly advocating division, and i just called him out for it.

There is a difference in denying tribalism and extreme regionalism, and accepting it.

Many here dont deny it, but we do not accept it. Knowing the difference is essential.

the country can't have more than 180mps thats not good. keep it small and simple. i don't care if one region has less population than the other, atleast all regions will have 10mps elected from them. its fair for everybody. i know what you mean for example in south somalia banaadir and gedo has the most population whereas bakool and bay have the least but atleast everybody is gonna be represented equally.

p.s. viva awdal
