You heard it here first. Mudug, Galgaduud, and Hiiraan with Caabudwaaq as its capital. The Ahlu Sunnah conference and maamul is going to be the bedrock. The recent formed parliament is going to be the basis of the state parliament and the UNDP is now going to inject money and resources with the support of IGAD to making it Central Somali State.

Why do you have that look on your face Coeus? Central Somalia probably the last place which could have united in Somalia as they are generally the most clan divided and warlike members of the Somali race.

Yet today we have them meeting in one place and choosing a leader for the area under their control, from Gaalkacyo to Beledweyne, and electing a parliament composed of 38 people.

Gudoomiyaha or President of the united entity was chosen to be Professor Hersi Mohamed "Labo Gari" who teaches Islamic history in the state universities in Malaysia and Brunei. He is Marehan/reer Siyaad Hussein. The Prime Minister or Gudoomiyaha Fulinta was chosen to be Maxamed Yusuf Xeefoow who is Habar Gidir/Cayr.

The UNDP and IGAD were in attendence and said if this meeting is successful, they will bring in resources to translate into one of the main components of Somalia's Federal system.

It is amazing what is going on. They literally seemed to have transcended clan differences and in the video of the shir you can see people's name tag showing them come from everywhere in the state from Beled-Weyne to Caabduwaaq to Dhusa-mareb to elsewhere. These guys fought together and died for each other for the first in a long time and I think this is something they have long been waiting for; something to break the ice between them and allows them to show much they really want to work together and live together in peace. It seems like they are holding on to this chance and milk all the advantages as possible. Gudaha wey is jecelyihiinoo wey rabaan inay isla shaqeeyaan.
