I second that. You're losing it, buddy.
Kenyas designs on Somalia is well known and the illegal occupation of NFD and the wagalla massacre is a historical testament of their hostile act against Somalis, but none of us can really apply the same for the other two nations. I recall the concerns Museveni had for Somalia were genuine, but they could have hidden intentions.Kenya is pursuing its own territorial ambitions in Somalia, and the current kidnappings that they are using as an excuse is a fake charge which they have most likely orchestrated. How is it possible that the Kenyan Government--with help of European oil conglamerates-- is lobbying every international organization in the world to limit the Somali coast to 12 miles while at the same time claiming to help the Somali government in defeating Al-Shabaab? The intention of Kenya is clear: it wants to create a regional Somali administration in Jubbaland that will carry on Kenya's biddings. It will also most likely want this regional administration to declare independence and/or eventually sign a union with Kenya. Unless we want to look the other way, Kenya's intentions are not hidden from any one![]()
In 2004 when the Elderot conference ended, Uganda and Nigeria offered their troops to help the newly formed TFG. It was the permanent members of the UN Security council who blocked the efforts of these two countries. In 2007, those permanent member of the UNSC brought Uganda and Burundi troops after the Ethiopian invasion.
If there is any genuine effort behind the AMISOM forces in Somalia, how it is possible that those forces who are behind them cannot help form, train, equip, and mentor two to three Somali army divisions who can easily bring Al-Shabaab to its knees? How it is possible the same forces who are behind AMISOM did not heed the call from IGAD to blockade all ports (both sea and air) that Al-Shabaab controls?
Don't be fooled, there is no genuine effort behind the arrival of these African forces into Somalia. They are only there to guarantee the strategic objectives (Allah knows what they are) of their backers. I would not be suprised if these powers are also bankrolling Al-Shabaab.
