Yup, and we will fight to the last man if their intention is to steal our resources whether its china, kenya, france and so on. The oil, fish etc in those waters belong to all " :som:", if they believe installing puppet regional governments will allow them to drill in peace, then they are in for a rude awakening.

On the other hand It's just so sad how emotional my people are, they don't see the bigger picture beyond "alshabab" and clan perspectives, their hate for the group and sometimes each other can be exploited by pretty much anyone including dijaal himself. I particularly am not a fan of the group but I feel that they are more aware of the situations and the true intention of neighboring countries than the so called TFG and their supporters.

There are two things at stake. One, China needs access to more farmland to feed their immense population, and two, China wants access to more oil for the same reason.

Lower Jubba has both.

Kenya is a client nation of China and the USA but this adventure is China's. The USA already recognizes the TFG, this is Kenya's own play with Chinese backing.

Kenya: Chinese Firm Offers to Finance Lamu Port Plan

Image

The project is part of a plan to create a second transport corridor -- linking the port at Lamu on the north coast to Ethiopia and the newly-independent South Sudan -- through a rail line, a highway and an oil pipeline.

this are all lies, Kenya is only interested in finishing al kebab and having peace in somalia. why would Kenya want Somalia oil and we also have oil prospects. just idle people could think that way. I have never understood why Somalis do not love Kenya, and they way we have helped them. I love somalia, especially thee southern part. and do not for a moment forget jubbaland was part of Kenya before stupid British colonialist stole it from us and gave it to collaborators of somalia
