Lamgoodle you are an astute observer. Anyone with half a brain knows the only way to build on military advances, is to accompany them with political and civil clout. The TFG has yet to make any steps in this direction. In fact its corrupt and flimsy nature is being normalized by these military successes. Instead of developing themselves as a clear and solid alternative by providing services that people on the ground need, and by self policing its own corruption, these issues are being swept under the carpet through the guise of military operations. This will backfire massively, as it has in the past. The problem is they have the upperhand on international donors, the only people they are accountable to politically. The know international donors are reluctant to withhold money after countless investments, so they have no incentive to clean up their act.

Jaidi, apparently some of us have become slaves to tribalism and we cannot reason as human beings. Somalinet is like the Doqon ma waaye market in Hargeisa.

Anyway, I agree with every line you wrote.

A government/parliament formed merely on a sick formulae called 4,5 will not be a panacea for somalia. The gains made so far in Muqdisho has been brought by the fire power of Amison. The so called somali TFG soldiers are a bunch of tribalists, moryaans, warlord soldiers etc. It seems that every loser in the diaspora has become a minister, a mayor, an official or something in somalia; that tells you alot about somalis; it is about easy man; corruption is our middle name.

The situation in the other parts of the country is even worse. You have warlords who rally people in the name of tribe; you have cyber warlords who spew hatred against others.

If you want to free somalia from the scum of al-sheydhaan, you need to target the hearts and minds of the people and here is where justice and the rule of law comes in. You should be able to show the masses that you are an alternative; that you put individual rights at the forefront. You need to convince the mother that fled to Ceelasha Biyaha that you will provide her with security.

About the Kenyan invasion - to which Patriot has lent his support. Believe you me this move will have far reaching implications for somalis everywhere and destroy Kenyan's economy. In somalia, this invasion will provide supporters to Al-sheydhan at a time when their support has dwindled; it will lead to heavy civilian loses. In kenya the already marginalised somalis will be hunted with pangas in down kenya. In the NFD everyone will be called a shifta again. I fail to understand why Patriot and his comrades who have been vocal againat Ethiopia's treatment of somalis suddenly start supporting Kenya's invasion! This is a classical case of tribalism going mad.

Jaidi good post but what lamagodley forgot is Sharif has derailed the Azania project and thus he has reaffirmed his support for the Keenyan invasion, Pat and his folks are not in the pic and I want Lamagodle to tell me who is going to fight for Besha Pat when the battle lines are drawn in his territory.

Is he going to shed any tears or brush it under the carpet just like he is accustomed to.

I say enough with the double standards.

The patriot; what is the Besha Pat? I shed tears for every dead somali. I dream of a world without this sick nonsense called beesha.

The so called Azania phenomenon will not work as long as there is a hidden hand. Qabilistans will prolong the sufferings of our people.

My points are what the economist writes about;

You cannot negate qabil as it is the building blocks of a nation. allowing some to exercise it while ridiculing others is shear hipocricy.

So Azania to you will fail but a joint operation of Kenya and Sharifs TFG will be successful? come again.

Again, you are beating the bush and lying; show me anywhere where I wrote what you stated above?

You need to take a minute and reflect on why your love for your tribe blinds your ability to think and reason  Free your mind and think independently because you seem to be involved in a circular reasoning that evolves around this crazy project called Azania

In my Somalia, qabil will never be a building block; call me naive if you want but that is my stance.

I let him speak for himself, but reading his posts I was under the impression he criticized both the incursion and the TFG.

In Somalia qabil will be the building block just as it has been historically unless you are willing to introduce Bastardisation.
Qabyalad is the social evil you need to fight.

If you talk about negating qabil and building a nation. Tell me how Sharif falls in line he is incompetent and has no experience of whatsoever and his CV is full of Alif wax male. Ba hoskale and Ta korku labaleh.

So in your reasoning are you implying that Ogaden do not leave in Somalia and have no stake in it and that they should just sit aside and sing patriotic songs welcoming everyone that wants to displace and plunder them. In other words they have no right to decide their future. while others are more than welcome to make for them their decisions.
