inadero i have been to tabliq i have cleansed myself of clan mentality. wlahi we should be realistic. we somalilanders want peace and want to determine our own desinty. why should we deny that to dhulbahante and warsangeli to determine their destiny. are we not muslims and not hypocrites?

Do you not know that there many in the Eastern regions(dhulbahante/warsenglis) who are pro-Somaliland? Some may be for PL and others for SL etc.
inadero saranow i know that. 5 of my cousins died in togdheer when there was a war between somaliland and ssc militia. i was angry i wanted them ssc militia to be all killed. then i did research and i found out that in islam we should love others for what we love for ourselves. i use to be #1 advocate to take over dhulbahante forcifuly but i realized thats wrong and it will have long term negative effect.

they dont want to be with us fine. they can leave with their land and not claim somaliland ever again even when somalia is in turmoil we will not help them.

Somalilanders are civilized people we lived together before the modern Somali republic was born in 1960 what makes you think that will change there is strong traditional leadership in Somaliland..

Somalilanders will always be united to the east we don't know what we can expect i predict a future border dispute as it already exist now and days , the Xabashis are our enemies two the thing is there is in Somaliland a democracy that works where people are allowed to express their views and to lead the nation this will always allow the people and the societies in Somaliland to coexist in peace
It is just what I would be curious to watch out for if you guys get independence. I am not saying you would or would not implode, it would just be interesting to see how it works.

Are you purposefully to trying to not understand what I am saying? Dhulbahante and Warsengelis and Fiqishinis are not ALL anti-Somaliland. There are many in Laascanood who are pro-Somaliland.

knowing My people i think they will continue their path because there is hardly things that divides them yea the only thing they are divided on is how to govern the nation but because we have a open political democracy in Somaliland. but every one is involved President Cigaal was a genius he looked into the history of Somaliland and established the most effective institution in our governance system which is the house of elders the guurti even difficulties that might occur in the future will be solved by them when rayaale and Siilaanyo and faisal cali couldn't agree on a election date and were mass riots in hargeysa when the former government locked the parliament it was the upper parliament the guurti that solved the issue. keep in mind they are located in a very hostile area in the horn of Africa in the future Somaliland and Somalia will have border disputes. Economical competition between Somaliland and Djibouti. Cold relations with Ethiopia. So keep all those things in mind.

listen inadero we are above this pity claims. we are a nation that dont depend on dhulbahante or warsangeli being part of somaliland. majority of them are against somaliland and i dont want anti somaliland elements being part of somaliland forcefully. there is no god, but allah and muhammad is the messenger of allah. that is what is written in our beautiful flag of somaliland. lets not be hypocrites. we vote for self-determination. we want indepedence. lets give that to those that are against us too.

So you need a hostile environment to keep you going. That says a lot dude. Even if you get independence now, which I am not personally opposed to, you guys will join Somalia the minute we establish peace and gain even more prosperity because you won't be able to compete with Somalia economically. Marka I suppose in some ways it's a why bother? You have been going about this whole thing the wrong way, you should take the role of mediators and AW made a good point when he said you should be focusing on getting yourselves a bigger piece of the pie now.

3 decades ago Cigaal ku mu dhawaaqin independence --> FACT!
We don't have any "cold" relation with Ethiopia --> FACT!
Cigaal is not anymore of a genius than Silanyo or anybody else --. FACT!
our unity isn't based on a common animosity towards Somalia , Djibouti , or anybody else ---> FACT !

BV walaal we don't need a hostile environment to keep going but this is the reality that exist int he horn even though we have been under a hostile environment for centuries the Conquest against the Abyssinians and than the brits etc etc. The problem is Bv you see as us puntland people you share the same political culture and traditions with people who love to take the advantage of things the TFG and puntland relations to use as an example. We on the other hand took this path because it works for our people and it will continue to work the people in Sl are not an a dictatorship this will allow the people to evolve their Political and economical hegemony in the horn. you can compare Somaliland with Eritrea only with out a mad dictator ruling it.
