The idea and political vision of Federalism in Somalia were introduced Nine year ago I agree with you on that point. Lakiin Federalism has not been implemented because of the many political and military obstacles A/Y and the Sharif Administrations have faced. It has been one obstacle after another that has kept Federalism asleep. But Thank All Mighty things are finally looking up for Somalia with the close complete defeat of Al Shabaab and a liberated Capital that has seen all.Its been almost 9 years since the TFG constitution was introduced in somalia it was in kenya 2003 at the eldoret meetings almost 9 year later. There aren't.any federal states in somalia we have the TFG and one state that operates as a semi autonomous region called puntland. But there aren't any other federal states the question is why, its been almost a decade since federalism was introduced. Can we say federalism failed in somalia since no progress on the ground was made.

Federalism can work in Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland are two perfect examples.Somalilan boqor the question is. What went wrong why is it so hard to implement governing system in somalia that works particularly that of federalism. What you are mentioning is proposed states in hotels in nairobi I am talking about something that actually works on the ground states like ximan iyo xeeb waax iyo waadi azania mareegstate gagaabstate raascaseerstate all those you mentioned are hot air and they popped out because jonny carson said he would support as much clan states. We can say puntland is a role model for the federal vision as it is the one that pushes federalism and embraced federalism than you have galmudug that controls half of mudug. Its this what somalia wants weak small clan states sacad has one federal state selebaan has one abgaal has 3 federal states dir has one udubland digil and xururfle has southwestern state I mean all those states are hot air. Its been 9 years since it was introduced walina kow lama joogo.

Don't worry the whole political plate form and future of the Whole of East Africa is about to change soon. Puntland Oil will be our partner in pushing Federalism.Somalianboqor if you don't have a partner that is willing to push the federalism it will hardly work out in reality you need a platform to carry out your operations Mogadisho would be perfect but its still sorting out it's self with the tons of Invasions. for 9 years you only have Puntland that sticks to their federalism ideals. and galmudug who want to follow into the footsteps of of puntland but they are still not there. So we cannot consider proposed states in Nairobi hotels as states these are just ideas, you need a base and partner . The Folks In Mogadisho federalism or no federalism for them it doesn't really matter Mogadisho is the capital of Somalia and it will get all the attention of the world no matter what.
