i wouldn't expect less than this from you because the Kampala accord kicked your uncle out of office for reasons that were right. The Kampala Accord does not state that president or speaker cannnot get sacked. Even if it does, it will contradict the law of the country. Kampala Accord was a peace agreement not a rule of law.Ximaan,
That might be correct in regular terms, but that is super ceded by the Kampala agreement. The agreement said neither the President nor Speaker can get sacked before time is up. Parliament approved that agreement. They can't turn around after their term got extended and all and then try to sack the President. A government that can't abide by its own treaties will not be trusted elsewhere. The legal framework for dismissing Shariif is not there after the Kampala agreement.
Kampala Accord=Nothing
Shariff Hassan was sacked according to the law of the country (Transistional Consititution).
you can't rewrite history with a single pen. the Kampala accord clearly stated that no one---i am talking about the top three posts---can bring motion nor none of them, in any way, can be forced out from office until august of 2012. these thugs whom you call MP's should have paid more attention to that deal and shouldn't have never approved it in the first place. it is too late for them and Shariif Hassan has the law and the international community on his side. and that's all what matters.
furthermore, there's already a planned reduction in MPs and many of these thugs would lose their jobs soon anyway.

Its you who is trying to re-write history by claiming the Kampala Accord forced Farmaajo out of office when infact he resigned with his head held high. The man placed his country above his desires in politics and new nothing good would come out of it if he pushed back. Others should follow his footsteps by putting their nation above their deep pockets.

You sound like a bitter person that lacks basic principal of the politic dillema of Somalia.
ximanjale, oh really?
first, i am not related to any of them nor do i support individuals based on clan affiliation but rather ideas or approaches that i think can solve some, not all, of our mega problems. most of the points you mentioned are Heresy and i don't comment on baseless accusations.
second, farmaajo was very inexperienced social worker from buffalo who was out of touch with reality. right after he came to office, he began making mistakes after mistakes, some of them huge and deadly. to give you an example, one of his deadly mistakes was his miscalculation about Puntland's power in Somali politics. he thought he could just sideline Puntland and he could accomplish peace and stability in Somalia. his enviousness for Puntland's success got the best of him and eventually that proved to be his undoing.
third, every MP signed the Kampala accord and farmajo was tossed out because he wasn't a realistic and lacked the political leadership to unite Somalis. and i am glad he didn't last long. he thought his uncle barre was still in power. poor farmaajo!
inexperience kulaha, dude we work to built the country not to sell it

Wallahi you make no sense. Your claiming Farmaajo was not a good PM, who are you to judge his rule? Are you blantantly ignoring the progress that occured in Somalia when he ruling, are you ignoring that TFG soldiers got payed and on time also, are you ignoring him paying the war veterans, are you ignoring his nationalism when he rejected to come to Nairobi? Are you ignoring all his efforts and work. Farmaajo doesn't need your acknowlegement, he already got millions of support from Somalis wide world. Your just a jealous man, your jealous that your not like him.ximanjaale,
i have nothing against PM Farmaajo personally but i don't like his way of thinking or his approaches to the current situation in Somalia. and because of that, i don't think he would have made a good PM had he being allowed to stay in office as pm for more time. as i mentioned before, he made several lethal mistakes and that cost his position. it is not because people didn't like him as individual but many didn't like what he was doing---the misuse of his power.
if you support him just because he's from the reerka, i won't be surprised. you are not the first nor would you be the last. and you are not alone. it is a Somali mentality. i am also closer to PM Farmaajo than you might think. knowing that fact alone should soothe you, if anything else wont.
one more thing: Farmaajo thought he could dictate what others should or shouldn't do and that proved to be his ultimate undoing. after all, it has been proven that social workers don't make good politicians and Farmaajo was no exception. however, i think he would make a good MP from Gedo---garbaharey to be exact.
i wish him nothing but success.![]()

loooool, crack is wack bro, crack is wack.

The only guy supporting the notoriously corrupt Sakiin is also D&Mafisone,
"he hails from my noble clan"
that speaks volume!
"your killing my brain cells"
a lot of people don't like the truth; you are not alone. truth hurts!

first, i am not D&M. second, all puntlanders support shariif sakiin. also, many people in other parts of the country, including banaadir, bay and bakool but not Gedo, for sure, support him. third, everyone with working senses would support shariif sakiin because you got to love the guy the way he handles the ball. The only guy supporting the notoriously corrupt Sakiin is also D&Mafisone,

You've got to love Somali "politics"

will i be right to assume that your, "supposedly educated" uncle farmajo, got tossed away to the curbside like some sort of stinking garbage by "supposedly uneducated, goat herder" from no man's land?Trying to portray an illiterate stooge in the employ of foreign nations as some sort of political genius is pretty laughable.
I suppose you think Quisling was an astute politician to have so cleverly seized power in the name of Nazi Germany. The fact that an illiterate goat trader is the Speaker of Parliament and our President is a former dugsi teacher cum terrorist highlights just how low we've sunk as a nation.
Somalia has become a real life idiocracy![]()
btw, I suppose the random Buffalo and Gedo bit was a nod at my supposed clan bias. I can assure you, I wouldn't support Sakiin if he were my first cousin. I didn't support the TFG during Farmaajo's stint as PM, nor do I support it today.
It's a farce of an administration that should offend every patriotic, red blooded Somali

Your obsession with this Uncle business is becoming a bit tedious. I don't know about your blind support of Sakiin, but I generally don't support people because we happen to share a distant ancestor.will i be right to assume that your, "supposedly educated" uncle farmajo, got tossed away to the curbside like some sort of stinking garbage by "supposedly uneducated, goat herder" from no man's land?Trying to portray an illiterate stooge in the employ of foreign nations as some sort of political genius is pretty laughable.

honestly , i don't blame you! i would be mad as hell if that was my uncle---or from....neh
educational: it is not about what you learn in class, it is about how you use that knowledge that makes the big difference. how many highly educated African leaders are out there, most of them with worse results as leaders than non educated ones? countless bro! if having an education could guaranteed a good and successful leadership, Africa would be a much better place by now and we wouldn't be in this terrible, indescribable situation.
education helps but it is not all about education. it is a little bit of everything. wisdom, experience, vision, skills in working with many different people with different agendas, ideas, opinions---the list continues and it is long.
