Anyone else find it interesting yet slightly comical?

Also, who are these females they use as cheerleaders? Family members or do they get random people?

Having masses of your own people greet you when you leave & come back to your country was a Communist tactic. This was adopted by Siad barre since he liked this tactic to be broadcasted to the masses, so that they could see that he is loved.

Since somalis are not creative, many of the leaders copy Siad barre. Just like Somaliland still has military parades, even though thats a stricly communist thing
