What is going on here, why are these people beefing with Jaaliyada Sade, we do not settle anywhere near these people yet they are constantly quarreling with us. Hutuking i can understand, he is Cayr-Habar Gidir who are our neighbors in Galgaduud, but what these other people, i do not even know what they are except that they are from the north, possibly Isaaq.
Quite the contrary actually. Somaliland[ers] is not concerned at all with Ghetto or Caabudwaaqistan. Perplexingly, Ghettoans, some more so than others, have displayed an insatiable interest in all issues Somaliland and as is well known you will always find them in Somaliland related threads. Oddly, they have been observed numerous times engaging in discourse that reflects negatively on Somaliland. As such, some Somalilanders have taken action to ensure that every so often Ghettoans are reminded of and put in their place. We hope you understand and harbour no hard feelings.

God Bless :sland: God bless all Somalis :sland:
not at all, i understand what you are saying, but you should know who you are engaging, Jaaliyada Sade do not hold any grudges it is not part of our dhaqan, and quite frankly it is an insult you do not know this. this dhaqan is well known and it was attributed to us by neighboring entities through out the centuries. You see we evolved after centuries of winning battles consecutively, conquering new lands and leading the Somals and others under Tribal, Islamic and Secular rule. So just keep in mind who you are talking to, we will not keep grudge as we will most definitely destroy you.

I agree there has been an unhealthy cyber reprisals, opportunistic attacks etc taking place between Jaaliyada Sade and you guys, it has been dragged out long enough and ruined many topics, why don't we fight once and for all in one topic.

Why else would you invent an entire country out of the blue? The entire pretext for your "freedom" was because there was a "genocide", is it not? Are there not currently a half dozen lawsuits against Marehan men simply for the fact that they were associated with the former government. You cannot in good faith tell me that your clan was not at the bottom of the hierarchy, hence your "Jihaad" for freedom and your new found status as the biggest fish in the little pond known as the Triangle.

btw, I understand your worldview is inexplicably linked with Somaliland, but you're speaking to men who ruled the entirety of the Somali peninsula. If you expect me to be impressed by a clan fiefdom propped up by the UN and Britain, you're sorely mistaken. Like I said to your friend Keyse, a refugee born in the hell of an Ethiopian refugee camp, eking out a miserable existence in one of the shittier London boroughs, living exclusively off the generosity of the British taxpayer, despised by even the Jamaicans they share the scraps from the table with, making remarks about a "cesspool" is rather ironic.
Heck war happens - and as we did - you fight it, you win it, you cripple your adversary and you move on. Winner takes all, as they say, it seems including your freedom if possible

Two things. Firstly I can understand if you were not taught history in Utaanga, but Somaliland, as the United Nations trust territory of Somalia, was a historic entity. That historic entity was re-hashed, to serve a purpose we had in mind. Secondly, creating Somaliland as a governning entity was part convenience part strategy; everything nicely fell into place. You see, up here in Somaliland we actually use our god-given intellect. Rather than just sitting in the lands we inhabit we have done something with it - rather than just sitting in it whilst roaming like animals and killing eachother - we decided to do something infinately better.

I repeat again, you speak of governing and controlling, what have you got to show for these qualities you claim ? Why is it that the places you inhabit are the least developed, the most unruly, most unstable and most remote ?

Lastly, before I leave you to roam your squalor, I do find it amusing, a notable sign of weakness though it may be, that you have resorted generic arguments regarding benefits and refugees, that one could as easily apply to the hordes of Ghettoans in the Ghettos ranging from Leicester to ghettos of cities in the North-Amican continent sub-continent.

You are a straightforward boon and it seems less emotional than some of the others that have entered this thread. I commend you for that and some of the others could learn a thing or two from you.

Yet you wrote "it seems you have convinced yourself that you used to oppress someone and that you ever karbashed someone." What was the reason for the war?

btw, I find it interesting you conveniently ignore the fact that Somalilanders are not able to move on, evidenced by the bizarre lawsuits leveled against Marehan men for the sole reason of belonging to the former Somali government. Why is it that every Isaaq is born waxing lyrical about a non-existent genocide?

Sadly, it seems that your argument for independence is rejected by the International Community. As I said in my last post, we are not the United Nations nor do we care for your ictiraaf justifications. Secondly, as I once again said in my last post, what I find ironic is a man living in Western Europe or North America speaking as if he didn't decide to voluntarily leave his "country". My friend, if Somaliland was this paradise you were speaking of, you would not have followed your masters into exile.
I repeat again, you speak of governing and controlling, what have you got to show for these qualities you claim ? Why is it that the places you inhabit are the least developed, the most unruly, most unstable and most remote ?
Your argument seems to refute the allegations of nepotism and corruption leveled against the former government. It seems to me that Siad Barre's regime invested far more in your regions than he did in his native region, for reasons unbeknownst to me. Or are you claiming that the Siad Barre constructed port's revenues don't comprise 90% of SL's current budget? It seems to me that you rebelled against your greatest benefactor.
Lastly, before I leave you to roam your squalor, I do find it amusing, a notable sign of weakness though it may be, that you have resorted generic arguments referring to benefits refugees, that one could as easily apply to the hordes of Ghettoans in the Ghettos ranginf from Leicester to ghettos of cities in the North-Amican continent sub-continent.
Yet you haven't claimed it doesn't apply to you. Speaks volumes.

edit-btw, if you're going to respond, please do so quickly. Some of us can't spend 3 hours debating our former owners.

when my fasting is over, i will create a topic in tribal section, the sole purpose of this topic is to challenge, humiliate and destroy isaaq, the material will be historically accurate and precise, it will server as a punishment for your annoying stalking of Jaaliyada Sade here on Snet. In the end of the topic when i am done with your kind and you will probably see yourself in a completely new light as will the rest of Somalis, may God be with you.

good day mudane.

I see that on top of all you other problems you also have comprehension difficulties. This is becoming quite repetitive but as I said before, the late government ruled with the implicit support of the people, when it lost this support, it was removed through war. Hence I said, "heck war happens - and as we did - you fight it, you win it, you cripple your adversary and you move on.".

Evidently Somaliland has moved on and it has the achievements to show for it. As for the prosocution of certain individuals, again this is becoming repetitive, " winner takes all, as they say, it seems including your freedom if possible".

It seems you misunderstood but I did not argue for independence, which to me would only represent the icing on the cake; at least not in that particular comment. Also, perhaps you are not aware but our situations are quite different. I can if I so choose, go and live in Somaliland, peacefully, with all the ameneties I could desire. Many Somalilanders have already done that, countless more visit the land and stay for months on end, as I have done myself. This may come as news to you, but let me introduce you to the concept of an economic migrant. Your homework will be to (a) learn the distinction between and economic migrant and a refugee and (b) learn the clear difference between the situation of Somaliland and the regretable and appalling situation in Ghetto.

I cannot and will not attempt to explain the policies of the late government. Nevertheless, as we are all aware, charges of nepotism and corruption are entirely justified. But perhaps so is the charge of short-sightedness. As for the port of Berbera, we all know Barre did not built it, did not establish it, nor did he fund it (see Soviet union and U.S). Berbera is an ancient city and it has been a port since time immemorial. The location, it seems, was a natural choice for a port due to its history but also its ideal location, its natural deepness and lastly its natural harbour/shelter - we are aware some of you worship the man (MSB) but surely to credit him with the natural characteristics of a port is utter insanity.
