Baraawe for the Capital City!

Postby guhad122 » Sun Feb 19, 2012 7:39 pm

In hearing the scary stories coming out of Muqdisho and how the city is a complete loss, I wouldn't mind Somalis selecting another city for this role. It would actually cost the international donors less to build new city infrastructures than rebuilding this ghost town. What makes even more unsuitable for Somali capital is that all the uneducated and criminal warlords are in the city rearming themselves for the eventual departure of the AMISON troops. While these African brothers have done an excellent job in crushing Alshabab, but I don't think they can afford to stay that long. What do you think? Baraawe is a nice city, a central, and it is easy to build brand new infrastructures due to its coast and proximity to many other major cities for manpower such as Baydhabo, Kismaayo, Marko and even Muqdisho.

If Reer Somaliland get their mind back, Hargaisa should automatically become the capital city!!!

Because they come from a collection of towns and villages.

They don't like the fact that they must use the airports in Xamar or Berbera and take a bus ride that lasts 5 days and 5 nights to get to their dusty town

Brava is not a Somali city.

There are mainly Kenyans and Arabs living there. They speak Swahili as a first language, not even Somali.
