Plan Unveiled: Somalia about to be secured before August.

Postby D-Runner » Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:17 am

Under the plan, peacekeepers from Kenya and Sierra Leone will secure southern Somalia's Gedo, and Juba regions, with their headquarters in Kismayu.
Ugandan and Burundian troops would push out into the Lower and Middle Shabelle regions south of Mogadishu still held by al Shabaab. They will also move into central Somalia's Bay and Bakool regions, making Baidoa their main base outside the capital.
Djibouti's troops are expected to hold Galmudug, Galgadud and Hiran regions.

Bullshid. Can't speak for the rest of The Jubba's, or the Shabeelaha but ain't no Sierra Leone troops coming to Gedo. Gedo Defense forces already have the job handled.

Murax, the ragtag bunch of misfits serving both Hiraale and Madoobe presence no one is denying sxb, but you and I both know that without the American drones and both the Kenyan and Ethiopian forces help, well let's just say your uncle would have given Usman Bolt a run for his money... lol again.
A 100-strong Djibouti contingent arrived in December and more soldiers from the Red Sea state and Sierra Leone are expected to join AMISOM's ranks by April and June respectively.

The plan is already in play and there is little a toothless clan X can do to stop it.

I get what your saying, But if i'm not mistaken wasn't the Kenyans in Gedo just this past January ? What difference does it make If Sierra Leone joins in, why waste your bullets when someone else is willing to provide you with theirs. This is a win win situation if you ask me. The ultimate goal here is getting rid of Al Kibaab.

Get over Your Barre Hiiraale phobia for one second, and just digest the point I made. There is no Sierra Leone, AMISOM coming to Gedo, because yes the Barre Hiiraale Gedo Defense Forces have already done the job in Gedo. Btw, there was no Ethiopian Push or Kenyan Presence in the capture of the territory of Gedo that has been captured. As for these guys going to Jubooyinka, Kismaayo I say whatever thats fine. While we will bleed for Gedo, let these guys do the heavy lifting there, and at the end of the day Sade will be named Gov of Kismaayo without us lifting a sweat 8-)

Even if they come, I don't know if I think it would be so bad Murax. Let them do the heavy lifting in terms of security, while we work out the politics

Like Farole been saying all along, Galmudug is after all a little fish in a big pond... shit had to read that line twice.

Murax, I honestly don't think you bunch will be free to decide your fate, I think you lot wasted that chance along time ago. And quit denying the undeniable sxb, we know who are backing Hiiraale... once the Ethiopian are order out, AU will fill the void. It has been decided.

I agree with them coming to Jubooyinka and especially Bay/Bakool. The D&M tribe being that they were in dire straits before Shabab came joined them to the last man and are the ones who are fighting to the last man as Shabab has really done well for the. Every since Ethiopans went into Bay/Bakool the amount of attacks towards Luuq from the Bakool side of the border has lessened dramatically. They really didn't have any sort of real anti Shabab resistance because most of them were Shabab to beging with.

As for Jubooyinka every since a lot of the Marexaan soldiers were recalled to Gedo to partake in the Baardheere offensive the advance has been slow there. The Madoobe Ras Kamboni outfit, while they are a feisty little bunch they are very, very small and it has become clear that the two Jubbas + Gedo is too much of a burden to put on the Gedo forces. Being that these two regions are densely populated and very diverse, there is no reason for Marexaan to play hero and try to capture them by themselves. Let these AMISOM go down there if they wish. As for the Kenyans while I don't particularly like them, hey at least its better the devil You know. Being that we share the mandeera/b xaawo crossing we know each other well and my bro when He visited B Xaawo mentioned that the Kenyans on the other side are pretty cool and many are somali anyway.

D Runner,

Since When did I not ever mention that I love Col Barre Aden Shire "Hiiraale"? About deciding our own fate, being that the Capitol of Somalia today is being ruled by AMISOM, coupled with all sorts of foreign troops on a national scale we certainly don't. On a local Jubbaland scale though, our interests will be there and fulfilled either politically or through the militiary liberation.

"So the task of governing Kismayo will be allotted to other influential clans, primarily the Marehan, and the most powerful armed groups in the region, in particular the Ras Kamboni militia, former Islamist combatants who have been "turned round" to fight al-Shabaab"

Somalia's the world's biggest dependent on foreign aid state so tell me who 'decides their own fate'?

Murax, by fulfilling your interest in Kismayo you mean to pull the same little stunt you uncle did when he claimed to represent the TFG there? That sort of superficial links to the TFG will not be tolerated anymore and trust me if he tries that sort of stunt with another TFG-appointed rival he'll fine himself on a post facing down the barrel of a rifle.

Lol @ your "Influential" bit... I might have given you the benefit of the doubt but since were talking about Kismaayo, a city that has changed hands as some have estimated more 30 different times since 1991; one big port city that has been the locus of a long-standing conflict, good luck selling the world your more influential then a lower-caste from India when your striped butt naked. Aided was lucky at the time the Americans were hunting for his arse, the Hawiye rush to his aid. The million dollar question though is, Will Hiraale be as lucky when it's him vs. the AU? Probably not since I'll be the first to roast his arse.
