Somaliasation of Nigeria

Postby nomadicwarlord » Wed May 02, 2012 9:58 am

This is the third time I'm hearing that term. wake up Somalia :som:

“The Somalialisation of Nigeria is taking place right now. We need to sit down and get to the root of the problem and find a solution to it" Former Nigerian Defense Minister.

"Everyone familiar with news must be conversant with the running tragedy of Somalia, the once proud country with a proud people, illustrious history and robust international trade, now reduced to a paradise of power pimps; and its Indian Ocean channels, a pirate’s haven. That is what you get when a power rogue fringe tries, willy-nilly, to mould the land in its own vile image. Is Yorubaland, the progressive bastion of Nigerian politics and the undisputed pacesetter in the conscienscization of national politics, headed for that perilous path"? Yoruban Author.

This is the first time I am hearing this! It is sad that we have become synonymous with all things negative!

My friends , I have told you this before .
We are gonna be refered to as THE blueprint of post civil war whatever the fu,ck you wanna call it .
Wallahi I can smell/feel it .
We're in competition with our brothers from Afghanistan , let's go !
With a lot less fire power and money , I am convinced we're gonna pull it off .

"Everyone familiar with news must be conversant with the running tragedy of Somalia, the once proud country with a proud people, illustrious history and robust international trade, now reduced to a paradise of power pimps;
This is true . The truth my brothers and sisters is meant to WAKE you up , not knock you down .
Allahu Akbar !

I mean It's true though! No one wants see their country turn into Somalia aka Somali mentality. We rarely ever see the bigger picture even here on snet. When people think of Somalia they picture Mass starvation, Piracy, Million+ in refugee camps, Shabaab, clan vs clan and the most failed state in the world. Period.

What do we see? Those starving people arent from my clan (sometimes even used as ammo against each other), We like to pretend the refugees in Kenya don't exist, My innocent clan vs. the aggressor clan, we will never sit down with reer hebel, we want to breakaway and so many more fuked up backward way of thinking. Now it even got to the point where people got comfortable saying fuk " :som: " it never existed and it's all about my clans area now

Let's face it, Good Somalis are greatly out numbered by brain dead Somalis.

i`m not so pessimistic about somalia, because I know the country has all the resources and people to be a regional superpower.
if there were no foreigners between us, im sure we could have solved the problem long ago.

the proliferation of regional and mini states is a sign that people want to build and develop their regions.
the days of bum rushing xamar are in the past. :som:

Andrew Glucksman a French philosopher wrote on that term 6 years ago.

"The Somali model is spreading over the planet. Populations are taken hostage, frightened and sacrificed, becoming the war booty of lawless local chiefs. Brandishing volatile concepts – religion, ethnic group, a slapdash racist or nationalist ideology or a falsified memory – the commando units scramble for power on the strength of their Kalashnikovs. They fight less amongst themselves than against the civilians, who account for 95 percent of the victims, women and children first….

Hopefully another 20 years in that state is averted. The time is now to turn things around :som:

Three years of civil war, Nigeria lost between 1-2 million people, I can't imagine 21 years of warfare. Somalis are very peaceful people in those terms

I agree with you. Many of these peaceful African countries with resources are still poor as fock and their people live in worse conditions than many somalis. Somalia does not even get a fraction of the aid they get either.
