Siad Barre speaks about Ogaden War

Postby luis1 » Thu May 17, 2012 5:26 pm

Fighter:
The Somali army withdrew from the occupied Ogaden region; it was a strategic decision to withdraw. Ethiopia, the USSR and Cuba lost the war

Siad Barre has a different opinion about Ogaden War:
Somalia can not fight with the Soviet Union or neither the Warsaw Pact,Somalia can not afford that.
I think this is the decisive source about Ogaden War,Siad Barre accepting Somalia is not match to Soviet Union.

So your sentence USSR lost the war is wrong.

Man you are talking to an expert about Ogaden War,I have been looking for sources about Ogaden War since I was child I know Ogaden War story very well,Ogaden War is part of my life.

Now send me your sources about Somali victory in 1978.

^^that's him.

@Luis, Cubans were cannon fodder, little more than colonial troops they shipped around to fight their wars because they were expendable. I don't see how you take pride in that.

Shiekh Shariff has a better vision than Abdullahi Yusuf. At least he's collecting money for his trip to America, while AY collected money to settle down in Yemen.

Hi Fighter:

Did you hear What Siad Barre say about Soviet Union?
Somalia can not fight with the Soviet Union or neither the Warsaw Pact,Somalia can not afford that
Is Siad Barre wrong about Ogaden War?

Fighter says:
The Somali army withdrew from the occupied Ogaden region; it was a strategic decision to withdraw. Ethiopia, the USSR and Cuba lost the war
If USSR lost the war,why Siad Barre say Somalia can not fight with the Soviet Union.

I really do not understand that.

Yo soy de Cuba, naci en en Cuba y vivo en Peru,si quieres te doy mi mail para que verifiques si vivo o no en Lima.
