Osob,

Sadly the most antiHawiye Daroods were the Dhulbahante until they created Khatuumo. They realized that they were lied to by the Majeerten.

Your bitter hate for Dhulbahante is unbelievable. We have nothing against hawiye, they live among us (Fiqishini). All other hawiyes are just like any other somalis too us.

In reality, the most Pro-Abduqasim Daroods were Dhulbahante long before KHaatumo. And today the most pro-shariif daroods are Dhulbahante.

Am sorry but my family has been in Xamar since the 1920s and there were not alot of Daroods back then but nor hawiye, Xamar even had a gate that was locked at night, most Somalis were Nomads, Some Somalis lived in Xamar but Reer-Xamar, Cadcads, Arab, Indians & Europeans ba ubadna magalada. The Bimal and others inhabited the South & west of town & Abgal/ Mudulod to the north of the town.

IYAAH 1920'S? If you would not mind via PM please share your families name if your family has been in the city that long it can be very very very easily verfied, plus Xamar never had any gates meeshaad warkaas ka keentaye maa aqaan. Do you even know the Original districs of Xamar? Secondly Bimal is 90 Kilometers to the South their nearest deegan, reer cadcad lived in one district with the Indians and still to this day live in that district. Abgaal has been a majority of Xamar since they conquered it and that is hundreds of years ago and the first Darood to set foot within the city is documented. Prior to 1960 toban cid darood ah xata maa joogin xamar

My Great Grand father & Grand father were the Caqiils & Nabadons of Darood in Muqdisho, Ofcouse Abgaal lived in the town because they were close to it, but they were not as many as today most were nomads.
