Speaker of Parliament

Postby SultanOrder » Thu Aug 16, 2012 1:48 am

I think every qabil should be aiming their rivals qabil to pursue speaker of Parliament. I want Hawiye to become speaker of Parliament effectively taking them out of the running for President and parliament. Second best option is that they get Prime minister. Worst case scenario is that Sheikh Shariff becomes president. I'm most excited to see who will take this crucial role, thereby effectively eliminating a lot of people from competing for president.

If you elect a Hawiye speaker, the president can still be from the Hawiye clan. There power sharing is not based on a agreement right? Its just an informal way of allocate the top seats to the so called major clans. I am right?

I honestly thought it was a Zero-sum game. If one tribe get's one position, then it can't get the other two positions. If this isn't true, than disregard what I said.
