How will the tribes in the Presidential selections vote

Postby Khalid Ali » Thu Aug 16, 2012 9:01 pm

What kind of alliances are there to be made so far only a few clans are united to vote for a leader
The Majeerteen will all vote for Abdiweli
The Mudulood will all vote for Sh sharif
The Rahanweyn will vote for Sharif sakiin
The Merehaan will vote for Faarmaajo

The rest will vote for one of the 4 candidates but they are not united in their votes
Warsangali
Leelkase
Habargedir
Dhulbahante
Dir
Ogaden
Beesha shanaad

The speaker of parliament will be selected also so if some one from abdiweli or sh sharif are selected as the speaker of parliament he has no chance to become President or prime Minister 4.5 rules.

lol why do you take everything he says so realistictly. Honestly no one knows right now. Look at Marexaan, we have several big named candidates and I have no idea who that vote will go to. Word is Faroole is not happy with Gaas and is trying to undermine him with other votes. I don't know about Mudoloood or Rahanwayne. But then again when tribalism is legitimized, and the mps got their seats because they were a certain clan, it would be retarded not to vote for your clan, you would actually be going against your constituents interests.

PO: While not every marehan will vote for farmajo and same goes for all clans but the fact that nepotism is extremely prevalent ant in somalia is quite worrisome. hadaan maanta damco inaan farmaajo wax ka sheego, I'll have 44 of yall niggas on this joint goin' at me all because he happens to hail from the same clan as you . My point is what he wrote is what really happens on the grounds so we can't just dismiss it.

It's the 4.5 state qabyaalad is the name of the game.

Insha'allah after this, the plan is to have actual elections, thought that is contingent on the viability and safety of elections.

ps. I will only go after you if it is false :P

Not everyone is as reasonable as you. Most people here lack common sense to an uncommon degree.

Inshallah.

What there are other merehaan candidates how come we never heard of them
Buit its not smart of merehaan to divide their vote its better to vote for one candidate

Blue and white ooh its very important somalia is a neighbor even though ourr peoples and our countries are not friends
But its very important because leadership is about to channge in somalia
All the neighbors are equal important ethiopia djbouti. For djbouti we lobbied for geele to be the president

Its called observing politics is not just goofkeygi waaye you have to look beyond ur home these are foreign issues

Every one is securing his own interest nin tisa u orday wa nin tashaday

You must be really bored white boy. Self interest trumps clan allegiance in Somali politics.

the traitors will vote from whomever they're told to vote for by their masters.

it'll probably go something like this just for the sake of window dressing. hawiye will spill their vote insuring there'll be no hawiye candidate in the second round (tfg masters are tired of the incompetent sharif). naturally the cunning one will get the rahanweyn vote. most of the darod and dir vote will go to abdiweli ensuring the second round will be between the cunning one the traitor with the latter being elected because the enemy prefers him. so you see. it's already decided. abdiweli will be elected.
