Its not only Marexaan, women are underrepresented in every clan. Seems like none of the elders followed the 30% criteria.

The 30% was long ago rejected, but all clans were told to nominate atleast 1 or 2 females. The only clan that didn't nominate atleast 1 women was Beesha Mareexaan, thats why Beesha Mareexaan's MP's were NOT sworn today because of the feud between the technical team and Mareexaan Ugaas.

I don't know what the hell they expected, you can't say something like that anywhere. You can't say that here in america or any country for that matter. It's like the stupid bs of the egyptian supreme court saying the parliament is null and void because x amount seats was suppose to go to independents. I can understand if this was a party and you said you must bring this amount of women. You tell some odeys you all as group must bring this amount of women, but they don't stipulate how many of each clan, and which sub-clans must do it. Every elder is going to be like let the next elder do it, and that is why we have the abysmal amount we got. It's really a failure of the people who designed this process.
