Its not always who has the most money, but who has the right connections. Faroole and Sakiin beat Sharif in both. Plus Sh Sharif didn't expect his MPs to be reject, and that was the work of Faroole and Sakiin.

Sharif is crying, some Marehan are crying, Hawiye is crying, Raxanweyn are crying about RRA, etc. By far this technical committee is the most professional I have seen come out of Somalia's political process.

Executive, besides the voting members, the Committee had half dozen international members from AU, UN, Arab League, EU, etc and there had to be a reason for denying people, the right to let people know, and the right of appeal.

Even long time ago on the meeting of "Principles", I noticed a lot of the requirements being set out were ambiguous like "xagjir" (Ala Sheikhs refused because of this) but Sheikh SHarif neither had the political acumen nor the interest to nail down before so why cry now?
