Shirib is right. Each of the sides of the star on the somali flag is for: italian somaliland, british somaliland, djibouti, nfd and ogaden. that is what the country was founded on, a belief that all somalis live under unity.

Everyone clan in all somali regions should be represented but not bloated and ridiculous representation. all somalis should get citizenship from either side of parent but not lost chinese children roaming somehow randomly roaming the streets of qardho and are lost

Issa do live in Somalia, I doubt there is a somali clan that doesn't live in Somalia. According to the constitutions they can be citizens of Somalia.

So you decide this based on their qabiil, or something else?

If you are born and bread in Somalia and so were ur parents you are a citizen of Somalia regardless of tribe but if you are born and bred elsewhere as well as your family like Djbouti or Ogadenia you are not a citizen of Somalia. Why should we from Somalia be all nationalist when everyone else is not? Forget Somali weyne each to his country. The Somali Bantus should get more right in Somalia than the Djboutis. Just like the black Saudis get more right than other non Saudi Arabs because they are people from Saudi and other Arabs aren't
How do you decide that like I said. If a guy goes hey my family was born in Somalia. I want my citizenship, on what grounds can you deny anyone?

The title is wrong and misleading. What you have in Somalia is not a parliament, its a collection of warlords and thugs aiming to get rich on the back of the poor people of Somalia. Those who CLAIM to represent the people of Somaliland or Isaaq's are the scum of the earth. The people of Somaliland have elected politician who they see fit to represent them and those politicians will aim to carry out there political wishes. For somebody to come along and hijack there political right is not because they were elected but simply because they hail from this tribe is wrong. We do not support these people who try and take advantage of both the people of Somaliland and those in Mogdisho. They are not patriots, patriotic people don't exist and if they do you will find them all in Somaliland. Furthermore if these so called politicans return to Somaliland and get arrested, that should give you an idea of what Isaaq on the whole think of them.

You people should be thanking us for arresting them and treating them as criminals...
