Solution? Very simple. Don't hand in your weapons and always make sure Ogaadeeniya independence is the endgame.
Are you serious you are very dillusioned from the reality on ground.
Who said hand weapons? What am talking about is lessening the burden. Settling for a solution that will give you a breathing space to demand more rights. At the moment you have non do you think a bunch of illiterate youth guided by ex MSB poodles will liberate the land?

This talk will not and shall not succeed.

The first mistake was meeting them in Kenya. If any real talk was to begin, they must meet outside the continent of Africa if they want any hope for a real progress.

You need to start thinking outside the box.
What do you have to begin with? No city nor village so compromise is the solution.
Time is up for ex MSB poodles hijacking and sabotaging the peace process.
We are tired of sellouts and people who lack vision.
You cant simply refuse basic conditions of agreement by substituting it with castles in the air.

LOL, Ethiopia will never let Kilinka 5aad go. To many strategic/economic interests, internal power dynamics, and ethiopian identity involved. This is just a way to keep ONLF from causing trouble in the power transition.

The Patriot those young men who jeopardize their life to fight for their country and dignity believe they can liberate their land from the Ethiopians. Nothing will be done over night and even if you criticize the top leadership of the ONLF Fine with that but leadership can be changed but the Aspirations of the people cant be changed the principle of being a free nation can never be compromised i know it some times cant be easy in the Entire Ethiopian Country the only Rebel resistance is that of the ONLF that's why the Ethiopians are insisting to have a some sort of peace deal with the ONLF. If you look at the history of the region it was always at war with the Ethiopians starting with Garaad wiilwaal and the Galle madows. The Mullah came along and the dervishes and their destructive raid in Jigjiga against the forces of Menelik the second in 1901 what about makhtal daahir in the late 50s and sixties fighting against the Ethiopians. What about the wslf and the Somali republic the region was always fighting for the same cause a free and an independent ogaden. So i think that goal will be continued to be reached by its people whether by ONLF or by others. You are fighting a 3rd world country in Africa there are people who are fighting the Russian army. Others did it before you Eritrea example all is possible as long as you keep ur gun in ur left hand and the Quran on the other. Dropping ur independence claims is accepting to be Ethiopian and the people of ogaden were fighting so long for generations that their identity is not Ethiopian ur insulting ur forefathers if you accept that. you directly insult those who shed their blood for the country those who are in Ethiopian jails now. Having plan b and fighting a diplomatic war no problem but you dont surrender to ur enemy.

I never went to even one function held by the Somali kilil.
I came to realise that those that made the most noise benefited alot from the plight of the people.
Good example is Silent cry, alitixad etc
Also the ONLF leadership is run by those that used to clamp down ONLF sympathisers in Somalia during the heydays of MSB. Mind you non cared about the suffering of the people all were to fuckin busy building villas in Boli qorane. Today having nothing are resorting to spearheading the liberation. They call it fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

I dont think I need a lengthy essay why not just swap roles let the Sacad Muse bakharaley fight and liberate the land while we negotiate for a more sane deal? We will no longer accept being a sacrificial lamb.
