You called him a nationalist. Wasn't it him who was trying to get warlords into the parliament, wasn't it him and his crew who stole aid money?

TeAmo,
Those are just accusations. Nothing has been proven. And even if he did steal, everyone in the Somali parliament and government is corrupt. Don't point the finger at him for everything. From the President, to the minister, to the minister's assistant, to the security guard at Villa Somalia to Augustine Mahiga.
Yes, I know his wrongs and that is why I have other candidates that I support! Sharif is my 4th or 5th choice!
Of course he's a nationalist. Other than studying in foreign countries, he stayed in Somalia while all of us are in the West.

that would defeat the purpose. his whole agenda and the reason why the majority of the somali people support farmaajo is that he is trustworthy guy who does not steal, kill or is corrupt. why would he form alliance to a man who is accused by the international community of stealing 7 out of 10 dollars, a man who was kicked out of saudi arabia and was told they would not give him zakaat money due to being corrupt. From what I heard from Xamar, Farmarjo and Sharrif have been locked in talks at the former US country club for the last 24 hours.
It seems that they`re ironing out their differences before forming the dream ticket.
Shariif as president and Farmarjo as PM.![]()

Iam Imam HutuKing and I approve this message.TeAmo,

So what just because others did it doesn't mean he should. He could have stopped the corruption, even if he didn't have the ability to stop it he could have reduced it. No one is blaming just him they are all corrupted but because he was our president and was supposed to look out for our interest and put us first it just makes it worse. Just because he stayed in Somalia doesn't make him a nationalist![]()
If he is such a nationalist then why is he allowing the rape of Somali women by Bantus and
Habashis to happen under his nos

I agree with you but you are suggesting that I don't want change to and want a new leader. I do.I just want people to be reasonable in criticizing this man when it comes to not moving somalia forward. you cant move the country forward when you got an organization 10x the size and 10x the strength of the somalia army causing mayhem in the country.Invisiblehand what Somalia lacks is a visionary leader who sees beyond Amisom and Shabaab, we need strong people with character and who can stand in the world stage and make us proud. Sh. Shariif has shown us to be a local imam who is good at reciting quranic surah and their tafsiir in Jumuah prayers. When was the last time he gave a touching speech that appealed to our senses, when has he laid out a national idea that unites the different districts, when has he gathered or supported a bold idea that made everyone think and ponder. Even the little tenured Farmaajo wallahi was more inspirational and paid the armies from the savings of fancy flights and lavish parties, imagine what $200,000 savings could do for the morale of our brave men and women. Sh. Shariif can not see beyond organizing a 'shirib' at City Plaza in Xamar, its time for change. None of the running candidates have warlord and civil war record on their cvs, anybody can do better than Sh. Shariif.
