So will the U.N still control Somalia?

Postby TeAmo » Mon Sep 10, 2012 6:33 pm

Will U.N tell the new president how to run Somalia? Or will he run the country by himself like a REAL president? And is this a permanent government or something transitional too? And when will we have a federal state with only ONE president not a few fake clan presidents, who rule their tribal regions. When will we have ONE president who rules the whole of Somalia from north to south in a federal way?

It is a permanent government the transitional phase is finished. His ability to become a president that controls whole Somalia from the Kenya -Somalia border
to Puntland depends on if he defeats Al shabab completely and develops good relations with Puntland.

We are now in post transitional, the first somali federal democratic state after 40 years. What will follow is having a countable state, with a constitution, can do whatever she likes inside her territory and seas to protect its sovereignty, can borrow money from the world banks, can get weapons from anywhere but politically is not fully independent authority it still needs credibility so the UN will still offer a kinda of political advise untill there is no more african military forces in somalia and somali gets itsself together but the state is free in evry thing else and countable. It depends on the constitution, if the regional federal states are uncontable then there is no more mahiga has gone there and there.
As for the government, the president wants to be a small technocrat government and he will be closer to qatar.
