The next Prime Minister is Marehan and his name is Shuuriye.

Postby The`Republic » Wed Sep 12, 2012 8:27 pm

My presidential candidate has decided to politely decline the offer of PM at this time, instead working independently to help Somalia while preparing himself for presidency in four years time.

As a result, the new President Hassan Sheekh has decided to offer the post to another man who goes by Shuuriye. As of yet I do not know of this man's sub-clan within Marehan or his story, but I will find it in the coming week.

In the coming week, due to formalities, the new Pres will hold "interviews" with various Darod candidates about filling the PM position including the departing Abdiwali Gaas but really he has made up his mind and has his candidate.

If something unexpected does not arise from now to PM announcement, you have gotten the man's clan and name here first. There is not a single Somali site anywhere online that suspects this or has written anything about it. This is an exclusive Somalinet inside information.

You've been right about most of your predictions so far, I will keenly await this one as well.

A new name & a new face, a new beginning, the next 4 years are extremely crucial.

Kheyr, inshallah.

How's school, little brother? It's been a while.

Sareedo-

Aamiin and it is also best to remember that in this post-transitional constitution the Prime Minister has more "government" powers than the President so it is best that Hassan Sheekh find a man who will be his partner in every regard.

In this constitution, with this new empowered parliament and speaker who understands the consitution he drafted...such things as the President interfering in legislation, naming ambassadors, military, having direct hand in naming Cabinet, approving state agreements etc like Sheikh Sharif and the former defunct transitional government used to do will not happen.

Those are powers that belong to the incoming Prime Minister and the entire political infrastructure of the current provisional government knows so.

May Hassan Sheekh and his partner become men who agree on everything and private and quickly compromise and find solutions on disagreements.

I Have No Problem With This,If It means Getting The Most Turbulent Party of the Country Under The Control Of The Fledging Governmnet,Let The South Organize Itself In a Mature Politicking. Then We will Deal With Rest of The stable parts of the Country.
The waning Ethiopian Influence,The US,UK and Turkey Commitment To Stable Somalia Is a Political Opportunity That Should be Used For The Maximum Benefit Of The Somali People. At The End Of The Day,It is Better To battle In A fair Ballot Votes Then In the Street Battle Ground

I will have a full profile on him soon sxb.

Hunter-

Hassan Sheikh has decided peace in Somalia requires having a Marehan man to contribute to that enveloping peace in the southern regions. He is interviewing from 7 Darod candidates of all sub-clans but sources from right within his team have said he has his person and sub-clan from within the 7.

When those 7 are publicly spoken about in Somalia media, watch for the man Shuuriye.

Voltage - I'm back in the States, sxb. Last year and all, keep me in your prayers. Congrats on graduating, didn't know. This whole time I still have a mental image of you from 2 years ago, I haven't been keeping up with things, my bad.

Habaryar Maryan is a G, walahi. I was watching her last speech with her brother who lives here in town and we were all cracking up. Few people know she has a law degree from Bologna, she's always had an interest in public office. Not sure what the future holds, but I wish them all much luck. There's so much to be done. It was great to see Xamar back from the brink of death, we need to move forward. No more greedy individuals holding a whole country hostage for their own personal gains. The people back home are ready for change, for the first time in a long time, the people of Somalia want governance. Everyone I spoke to had great hopes.

Advo & Murax - Waan idin salaamay, sxbs.
